Pros:

Établissement en plein centre du vieux quartier à côté des rues commerçantes pour un prix extrêmement correct. Chambre vaste et très propre mais sans fenêtre extérieure.
Accueil exceptionnel de Stella qui nous a trouvé au dernier moment(le matin même) une croisière de 2 jours/1 nuit dans la baie de Lan Ha à la place de la croisière que nous avions réservée et qui venait d’être annulée sans préavis.

Amazing breakfast!

Pros:

It was great to stay with Stella. Everything is very thoughtful arranged and we felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is great in the middle of the old quarter. But once you inside it’s quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is very nice.

Nice place in the middle of Old Town.
Pros:

Stella is very hospitable and helpful. We had good conversations with her during breakfast. The appartments are located right in the middle of the very busy Old Town, but inside it is quiet.
My room 2a had a windows looking into internal shift, so it was especially quiet. You do want to find a quiet place in Hanoi. Stella and her helper also provide a good breakfast. I also liked a lot that homestay has a water filter and you have a supply of free drinking water. You don't really want to drink the tap water in Hanoi.

Cons:

I should've planed better and not book the cheapest option. The room was ok, but I liked much better the bigger room my friend had. Still, for the price it was a good value. If you have serious mobility issues, this place might be not for you, as there are stairs. However, if you are in relatively good health, it's not a big deal.

Quiet oasis in the Old Quarter
Pros:

Stella’s homestay is a hidden, quiet oasis in middle of the bustling old quarter. You enter through a small alley and get up some stairs and suddenly you’re removed from the noise.
The homestay is very cosy and our room was big enough for a longer stay, we just had one night stop over. The bed was big and comfortable, we got a good night’s sleep.
For breakfast we could choose between western style dishes or Vietnamese cuisine. Coffee was very good.

Cons:

The only thing to not book is, if you can’t do some stairs with your luggage.

Super logement dans le vieux quartier
Pros:

Super logement, propre et moderne. Le personnel était tres gentille et accueillant.

Cons:

L’accessibilité avec les escaliers étroits mais c’est mentionné en avance donc ca ne nous a pas derange.

Gemütlicher Homestay mitten in Hanoi
Pros:

Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und größer als wir von den Fotos erwartet hatten. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Kaffee aus der Siebträgermaschine hervorragend.
Die Lage ist top! Mitten drin im Old Quarter, aber sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeberin Stella ist super nett und spricht gutes Englisch.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Cons:

Die Zimmer bekommen etwas wenig Tageslicht und auf der Dachterrasse fehlen gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten.

Old Quarter comfort
Pros:

Set in the middle of the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Stella keeps a well serviced and efficient homestay with the most comfortable bed and pillows I've slept on this holiday and maybe ever. Stella was so helpful arranging a scooter and laundry and even making sure i was on time for my flight.

Pros:

En una ciudad bulliciosa, el hotel de Stella es un trocito de paz y amabilidad. Nuestra habitación estaba en el cuarto piso y estuvimos genial. No os asustéis por la entrada, los dueños de las tiendas de al lado son muy amables y os indicarán como entrar al hotel.
Merece la pena y son muy amables! Gracias por haber hecho nuestra estancia muy fácil
