Pros:

Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special.
The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty.
Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting.

A place you must stay
Pros:

Enjoyed the hospitality, the view from the rooms and the spaciousness of the room and the bathroom. Pictures don't do justice to the size of the place.

Cons:

The drive to Wangdue Ecolodge is still muddy and felt a bit dangerous. However, the owner did mention that there was an approval for the tarring of the road.

Exceptional
Pros:

Kelsang is a wonderful person and manages the property with such care and grace. Our stay was truly beautiful — the delicious meals and the delightful breakfast outdoors were the cherry on top. The property itself is stunning, with a charming sustainable design that made the experience even more special.

An amazing hotel with a wonferful view at the illuminated that you will remember for the rest of your life
Pros:

The Atmosphere, the view and the staff . A special mention to Mrs Kolzeng ( hope to have well written her name) , the front manager, who is very helpful and nice. We had a nice simple dinner with good food and enjoyed a fresh beer. It seems to be in a family. The rooms are clean and very large and silent. The bed is comfortable .

Cons:

A little bit hard to be reached , but just a little and deserves the little effort !

Pros:

Very poor road conditions to access the hotel. V basic facilities, not much to do. Food was good. Was overcharged by hotel for the stay.

Great location and potential, but poor value for money
Pros:

Location was exclusive and hard to reach by views were good and there was a lot of peace and quite

Cons:

1. Access road is risky and really bad
2. For charging 10000 per night- only a room is not enough- food quality was poor, room provisions were scanty and I’m talking about basic things like having 1 glass bottle per person which you can refill, mosquito repellants nothing. Value for money is really poor. Nothing much done on site for guests to be engaged

Excellent stay with spectacular views of the Dzong. Stay here!
Pros:

Definitely stay here! The location is stunning overlooking the Dzong, the Bhutanese food was excellent, and the room was large with plenty of Bhutanese touches that make the place feel homely and welcoming, including some antique items in the rooms. The manager and team were friendly and warm, and all the food comes from their own garden. The dining area is especially beautifully done, in a traditionally Bhutanese style with views of the Dzong as you eat. The team agreed to serve us a super early breakfast at 5:30, served on the terrace outside - again with magnificent views of the Dzong. The owner's family offers the use of their private altar room to meditate. I would happily stay here again!

Cons:

It's just a little difficult for the guides to find, requiring a slow crawl along the lip of the valley on a dirt road to reach. There are also no TVs in the rooms, which to me was a bonus rather than a negative (who comes to Bhutan to watch TV?) but may theoretically be an issue for someone out there. Excellent experience overall.
