Das Frühstück als Buffet, wie teilweise auf der Homepage dargestellt, existiert nicht.
5 Tage lang nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen gehabt.
Und ein Gym, wie angegeben auf der Homepage existiert zwar, ist aber leider ein Witz. Kann man nicht beschreiben, muss man gesehen haben.

It’s a bit further from town, but the hotel has a tuktuk and a van and it’s very inexpensive to get into the old market/ downtown area!
I stayed at Cheata Residence with a friend and we had an absolutely amazing time. The hotel is quiet, clean, and very comfortable - perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring temples and location attractions.
The room was spacious and well-equipped, the beds were super comfy, and everything as spotless. The conditioning worked perfectly, which as a big plus in the Siem Reap heart. The Wi-Fi as reliable too, so we could stay connected and share our trip moments in real time.
What stood out the most was the hospitality. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They arranged Tuk-Tuk for us, gave us great local recommendations, and always greeted us with a smile.
Highly recommended for friends, couples, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful and affordable place to stay in Siem Reap. We will definitely come back !!!

I especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings—it’s located just outside the town center, which makes it a perfect escape after a full day of sightseeing. Wi-Fi was strong, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was incredibly cozy.
Breakfast was simple but fresh, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The team also helped arrange transportation and tours, which made everything very convenient. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Siem Reap—excellent value for money and genuine hospitality!

In general the staffs were friendly, and the owners, as well.
Location was outside the city, but if you're driving, it's ok.
There was lack of maintenance in the building and facilities. The swimming pool water had not been cleaned, and
chemically treated. There were algae formation. The water tank at the top floor was full of algae. Experienced itches on body after the first night of stay.
The fitness center comprised of a few pieces of old equipment which required repair or replacement.
The water served at the poolside restaurant was likely ground water, with unpleasant taste - they should install a water purifier. For drinking water, only bottled water should be served.
I have stay at Cheata Residence multiple times and every stay remind me why I keep coming back. The hotel consistency delivers a quiet, clean, and welcoming environment that's perfect for both short and extended stays.

I arrived with a sprained ankle. The care and consideration shown by the owner as well as Concierge Sam and the other staff made me feel really well looked after. I appreciated the quiet of the location being slightly outside the City but only a short taxi journey away. It's a beautifully built hotel with a calm oasis feel. I ate at the restaurant daily and enjoyed breakfasts and evening meals: fresh and well cooked. Really comfortable room with a huge bed and quality linens. Good sized balcony overlooking the prettily decorated pool. I really loved my stay here and hope to come back.

The hotel location is within a short distant to tourist attractions and shopping center.
The room was very large. The balcony is nice. The bed was very comfortable. Fresh water bottles every day. It’s quiet. The pool area is nice. Massage in spa room was wonderful. Staff was very nice despite limited English.
Quite far from the center. We had to run the water for about 7 minutes to get any hot water. Staff spoke limited English. Breakfast was served and so-so. Not much around for food options and the kitchen has limited hours.
They organised the program that we wanted. When we had some problems with the room, they solved it.
The safe, the TV, WiFi and the door key weren't working.
But they solved the WiFi and the door key problem. The TV is partially worked later.

• no breakfast buffet (like advertised on the site)
• half a glass of orange juice for breakfast (how stingy can you be)
• no fitness center (like advertised on the site)
• pre-booked dinner was microwaved (every night)
• sometimes tiny portions
• noisy in the night, noisy in the morning (despite promoting this accomodation as so quiet and perfectly for relaxing)
• broken AC and the staff refused to fix it nor change my room (they insisted for 2 days to "just wait 5 minutes")
• staff enters hotel room at 07:00 am (probably thinking I wasn't there), theft attempt? - Management unfortunately didn't want to solve the issue.
