Overall excellent place near nature reserve you wake up in morning to the sound of birds
Pros:

Facilities location food was good quality breakfast was amazing very quiet with birds all around and nice trails they had horses as well

A touch of Paradise in the jungle
Pros:

This is a bit of paradise in the middle of nowhere. The grounds are full of plant life and exotic birds and beautiful to stroll through and very well maintained.
All the people working here were friendly and helpful. We did the zip line one day and our guides were so much fun. The pool is beautiful and refreshing after long days hiking the National Park. It is about a 25 minute ride over pretty rough roads to get to the park )all the roads around the park are pretty rough) but Rinconcito has to be the best choice for spending multiple days at the park.
The bed was very comfortable with great pillows and sheets. The balcony with hammock was perfect to relax on. Air conditioner worked very well.
Breakfast was amazing every day with Gallo Pinto, eggs, fresh baked bread and pastry and fresh fruit. Evening cocktails were delicious and very reasonably priced. Dinners were fine, but didn't compare to the breakfast, and service was good.

Cons:

The only issue we had was that we had a very high mountain view suite (which was amazing) so it is quite a hike uphill to the room, but nothing they can do about geography. The towels were a little thin, but fine.

Endroit fabuleux pour une retraite proche de la nature.
Pros:

L’accueil à la réception, en particulier David qui a consacré du temps pour nous présenter l’hôtel et les environs.
Le cadre naturel et la proximité du parc Rincón de la Vieja sont un atout pour cet établissement.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et le petit déjeuner de qualité.

Pros:

Loved the way the rooms are set on nice hillsides and the pretty gardens. Great to have a hiking trail onsite

In the rooms - softer lighting maybe. only one of the lamps worked also

We loved this lodge and would like to return before too long!
Pros:

Rinconcito Lodge is in a great location to access the Rincon de la Vieja park. There is also a nice walk to a small waterfall directly from the lodge. You can also arrange to take a ride on horseback, right from the lodge’s corral. Lying in the hammock on our balcony, we looked out to a lovely tree canopy which hummed with insects and birds during different parts of the day and night, confirming that we were really out in nature. Taking a dip in the pool after a hike was extremely refreshing and a very nice feature of this property. The breakfast offered a fine variety of hot and cold dishes served in a comfortable dining room with a high ceiling and picture windows that looked out to the well-maintained gardens surrounding the facility. Our dinner entrees were also well-prepared and delicious. Staff are friendly and very helpful in making suggestions as to what to see and do.
