Coastal Hideaway

The apartment was super comfortable. I stayed with a friend, and it was spacious enough for 2 people: the bed is huge, we didn’t even notice each other’s presence while sleeping, the working desk has 2 chairs and good lighting from the window. The internet was great, I could send some big files within an hour.

We didn’t cook, so we didn’t have a chance to check the cooking facilities, but there were enough utensils for us, a kettle for hot water and a fridge. Also it has a stove, but as I’ve mentioned, we didn’t use it. The bathroom is modern. The AC worked perfectly. And one of the most important facilities was the washing machine.

There are a few good cafes/restaurants in the area, and a surf spot Lazy Left/Right are 5 min walking distance.

The host was available at all times providing necessary help. Very grateful for my stay! Definitely coming back next year.

A beautiful well kept, modern property, hidden away from the busyness of the town. Has everything you need from A/C and a fan to a mini fridge.

The property is new and in a quiet place. The shower is gorgeous and there’s a small kitchen and even a laundry machine . The beach and the train station are very close

This apartment is an absolute gem. The owner is available and on time as well as just super friendly. Property is one of the best I've seen in Sri Lanka. New, modern, clean, attention to detail even in the garden area. Don't miss this one!

Good location, friendly staff, very comfortable and good facilities

Location was great, close to the beach but still far enough back to be quiet. Has a washing machine which is handy. The owner helped with local recommendations and answers to my questions. place was clean and tidy, very quiet too. Roof top area to chill and enjoy the cool breeze on a balmy afternoon. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect place for a couple, very good bathroom and water pressure. Fully stacked kitchen and everything is new and works great. The roof is beautiful for a sunset and the area is nice and quiet. But just a 2 min drive from the main road.
Had a great stay and Charith helped us getting everything in order when we arrived.

Great place - really well arranged, has pretty much everything one needs for a short or midterm stay, it's very clean and new. Location is good as well, it's tucked away in a quiet street, but a short walk away to Midigama beach. The host is also really helpful and kind, and fast in communication. Can only recommend!

Everything was perfect, it was 100% remote work friendly. I know many struggle with internet in Midigama, but this apartment helped me have zoom calls, it was super stable. I loved the outside shower, perfect to wash after jumping in the ocean and to clean your surfboard. Highly recommend for all facilities, location and also host is super helpful!

Our experience was above all expectations. First of all, the host is the kindest and most helpful person, we are so grateful for all the help and advices for our thousands of questions. The place itself is lovely, beautiful and cosy design, absolutely clean. Rooftop chill zone is perfect for some peaceful yoga practice or just for chilling and watching animals in the trees around (which is really fun and exciting).

The place is 7minutes walk to the beach, yet on a very quiet street, a lot of surfing spots around, really nice restaurant Surfing Wombats 5 minutes walk, bus station, train station and of course tok-toks always available, so it’s very easy to get anywhere. Small nice fruit shop just around the corner.
Spent 10 days here and would book this place for much longer time, real gem!

This place is a hidden gem! We had a wonderful time in Midigama. The location is just perfect: close to the beach and surf spot (just a walk of 5 min) and the main road but very quite and peaceful by the same time. Very supportive & caring host, beautiful property, super clean and modern apartment + fully equipped kitchen, well-working AC, reliable wifi-connection and comfortable bed: You'll find everything you'll need, even for a long-term stay. The first impression was impressive. The wonderful smell, the view (lots of great animals to watch), the washing machine and the very clean and very modern room. Everything was just perfect and we have seen many rooms, but none like this one. The host was perfect. He brought us everything we needed and organized a scooter for us at a very fair price.

It was by far the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. Super clean and comfy, a well-equipped kitchen, a quiet place and Charith, he was a super friendly and helpful host. We would definitely come back again.
