Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la quiétude de l'endroit, tout en étant au calme, mais suffisamment proche de General Luna. La propreté et la beauté du lieu, Mantaray est une homestay très belle avec un jardin et une terrasse très agréable.
Enfin, la gentillesse du staff, Elvira et Joseph aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes.

Amazing!
Pros:

A wonderful place to stay! The house is beautifully decorated, with an amazing garden that makes the whole place feel peaceful and special. It’s located in a quiet part of General Luna, away from the tourist noise, yet all the restaurants and other spots are easily accessible by scooter.

Elvira and Josephe are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We genuinely loved everything about the place.

Siargao is such a special island, and we would absolutely love to come back one day soon. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Everything was as described, I really enjoyed my stay and Joe (owner) himself greeted us and help us with local restaurants/sufring/renting bikes/sim cards/etc. He was really friendly and open to help with any question you might need druing your stay. Would definitely stay once again.

Cons:

There was a temporary construction in the neighbours land, so it was a little bit noisy during the daytime, but it is temporary and was not heard from the room - only if you stay by the pool.

Pros:

I spent three nights at Mantaray in General Luna, followed by three nights at Trogon's Perch in San Isidro (the northern part of Siargao). Although Mantaray is already one of the highest-rated places to stay in General Luna on Booking.com, my experience exceeded all expectations.

I'd like to highlight several things that aren't fully reflected in the listing but made my stay truly exceptional:

Outstanding hospitality from Joe and Elvira. They made everything effortless from start to finish:

We communicated via WhatsApp before my arrival.

Joe personally picked me up from the airport.

Scooter rental was arranged directly on-site, so there was nothing to worry about.

They organized my surfing lessons and arranged pickup from the property or another convenient location. Joe works only with excellent instructors.

They arranged an on-site massage with a professional massage therapist.

They provided a carefully curated list of restaurants, bars, and cafés. Trust their recommendations—you won't be disappointed!

They even organized my transfer to Trogon's Perch after my stay.

Excellent location. Everything is within easy reach. There's a great cocktail bar just a 30-second walk away, and everything else in General Luna is only a short tricycle ride away.

Personal support throughout the stay. Whatever you need, just send Joe or Elvira a message. They are always happy to help and can organize almost anything.


I genuinely believe this is one of the very best places to stay in General Luna. I will definitely be back.

One final message to Joe and Elvira: please increase your prices! You're offering far more than you charge, and if you keep these rates, it will soon become impossible to book a room here!

Cons:

The only small downside is that there is no laundry service on-site. However, there are laundry services nearby, so it's a minor inconvenience rather than a real issue.

Luxuriöser Aufenthalt mit super netten Gastgebern.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Joseph und Elvira ☺️. Sie waren super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Die Unterkunft und Zimmer sind sehr schön ausgestattet, sauber, ein super bequemes Doppelbett und die Lage ist super 👍 Wir konnten auch sehr unkompliziert einen Roller leihen. Es war perfekt. Séjour exceptionnel et incroyable.
Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cet hébergement les yeux fermés !

Elvira et Joseph sont d’une gentillesse incroyable : toujours disponibles, attentionnés et de très bons conseils pour les excursions, les cours de surf et l’organisation du séjour. Ils ont constamment veillé à ce que tout se passe bien.

Le logement est impeccable, très confortable et parfaitement entretenu. Nous étions en lune de miel et avons eu droit à des petites attentions adorables qui nous ont beaucoup touchées. Mention spéciale également pour leur flexibilité le jour du départ, où ils nous ont permis de rester un peu plus longtemps.

Et enfin, une mention spéciale à la petite Nala, avec qui nous avons partagé de bons moments autour de quelques parties de cartes !

Merci encore pour votre accueil exceptionnel. Une adresse que nous recommandons à 100 % !

Pros:

Tot in de puntjes op en top verzorgd. Denk aan vriendelijke eigenaren, geur van beddengoed/handdoeken/zeep. Iedere avond stond er een heerlijke wierook te branden in de badkamer. Perfecte ligging net buiten het hele drukke centrum.

Pros:

The room was amazing: spacious, stylish decor, very good bed, quality bathroom.
The owners are also super friendly and extremely helpful. The view and the garden are also a pleasure to look at and enjoy.

Wunderschön und ruhig
Pros:

Der vibe hat gestimmt, es war einfach gemütlich. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber, die Terrasse lud zum verweilen ein. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und standen immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Man kann vor Ort verschiedene Roller mieten um die Insel zu erkunden. Es gibt diverse, auch sehr gute, Restaurants, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind.
