Quirky hotel, with 1970s decor, including wood chip wallpaper, cork on the walls in the corridors and avocado green bath
Pros:

Lovely friendly welcoming owners and staff. Great breakfast, especially loved the smell of freshly baked croissants wafting into my bedroom every morning.
Great location to walk into St Helier and to the bus station.
Would highly recommend

Cons:

Don’t judge a book by its cover!! Initially I was a bit put off by the decor, however the bedroom was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable.
The bathroom was very compact but very clean.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Pros:

The continental breakfast was awesome - thick cut ham, various fruits, cheeses, cereals, toast, croissants, jams, yoghurt, tea & coffee, orange juice and home-made marmalade. The presentation of the food was fantastic.
Even better was the super friendly and competent ladies who worked the breakfast room. The breakfast room itself was lovely. The rest of the staff were great too!
The room was basic but clean and comfortable and was serviced daily.
The location was ideal being a 10 minute walk to the centre of St Helier.

Was everything I needed for my stay on Jersey to walk the Tidal trail
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff, quirky decor, wonderful continental breakfast beautifully presented, easy access to bus station. Comfortable bar with some interesting photos of well known rock stars. A very convenient base for exploring Jersey. Returning guests were very friendly and helpful too.

Cons:

No outside space. Bathroom dated , bath old and chipped in places in need of renewal. Shower was efficient but had to step into bath to use it.

Hotel style old british très accueillant, bien placé et avec un petit déjeuner du tonnerre
Pros:

la proximité du centre ville (moins de 500m) - la proximité du port (2km)
puis la disponibilité du gérant et de son personnel pour que le séjour soit parfait - ils ont été aux petits soins en permanence -
le petit déjeuner est hyper bien pensé en termes de variétés (une partie continentale, et une partie plus british avec un choix qui couvre tous les besoins ou appétits) et de quantité (pour des touristes sportifs que nous étions)

Cons:

c'est une constance générale des établissements 2 étoiles au Royaume Uni : le mobilier et les équipements semblent dater des années 1970 - OK, ce n'est absolument pas moderne, mais c'est so british (et nous on aime quand même) - donc de temps en temps, il y aurait des choses à réparer comme la chasse d'eau des wc ou une applique qui semble vouloir se détacher du mur - mais comme la gentillesse des hôtes et des membres de l'équipe est tellement présente, on pardonne tout et cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir

The hotel had a very interesting style, the staff were incredibly friendly and supported us with parking a large van on site. Exceeded estimations given its very reasonably priced nightly rate. A short walk into St Helier main area - very much enjoyed the stay

Cons:

I enjoyed the breakfast but it would have been nice to have some eggs & bacon.
