Serene and Beautiful
Pros:

Gem of a place. It felt like the heart of Sikkim. Outside in entire Gangtok , there were thousands of tourists.it was like Kolkata's Park treet in Christmas! But in the resort and the area sorrunding it were calm , quite and lush green.

Food was excellent . Not the north Indian or regular Bengali Macch Bhat. But mizo, sikkimise, Nepali and continental and Pizzas. We used to have dinners here . Cocktails, mocktails and every other item were equally good.

Staffs are well behaved and friendly. They love and are proud of their place of work, their organic garden , their management. Always smiling Arpita, Nana and the boys -everybody was so friendly and helpful.

The owner Mr.Chetan is an architect and thats obvious from the design and achiechture of the place.. very different and accentuating the pristine nature sorrounding the retreat. He is very courteous too.

There is an organic farm and a natural spring . Next time I plan to sit by the spring and have my coffee!

Cons:

Its in the outskirts of the Gangtok city . We booked it precisely for that reason. But it may matter to somebody.

Pros:

Everything about Kengbari was amazing! Truly a special stay for us. The apartments are lovely, fantastically designed, super spacious and made me feel right at home. Absolutely loved how nestled away in nature everything is. The restaurant was great and the food was tasty! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and the owner made us feel welcome and made sure we received the best treatment while staying there.

Pros:

The stay at Kengbari Retreat was truly rejuvenating and a lovely experience. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and always attentive to our needs. The owner of the property was also very kind and supportive throughout our stay, making sure everything was comfortable. Pros:

My wife and I liked everything about this retreat. Starting from the location to the politeness of the staff and the comfort of the room. It was excellent.

Amazing stayy
Pros:

The location was extremely beautiful and tranquil. The staffs were extremely helpful and friendly.
The overall ambiance—food,swimming pool,balcony,bathtub,everything,etc. was exceptionally comforting. The warmth and comfort provided by the place was amazing.

Peaceful location and friendly owner
Pros:

The location of the hotel on the hill with all greeneries surroundings. It was peaceful location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed Indian Nepali thali, chapati and Italian pizza with organic mushroom recipe. Room was big and spacious with scenic view balcony on special request.

Cons:

I couldn't use credit cards such as VISA, AMEX etc. for payment and had to arrange cash. But they are integrated with Indian online payment system. Had to struggle bathing with cold water on 2nd day of my stay but on 1st. day was okay with warm water for shower.

food service is too slow ... i ordered set meal which comes with second serving facility but when i asked dal and vegetable to be repeated,she said yes i will check but she never gave any answer nor did she sent me the food .

Superb property 100% recommended
Pros:

We had the best experience possible at this amazing property. The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations. 100% recommended to everyone. Loved the way the property has been designed and maintained. The food was superb. We also got excellent recommendations for the day trips at Gangtok. Overall, it was a superb experience staying at Kengbari and I wish we could stay longer!!

Pros:

I liked everything about this place.. firstly the property is very well located away from the hustle bustle of the city,yet not far from Gangtok city.perfect choice for a relaxed holiday.

I loved the way it's designed..great landscaping with stunning natural surroundings.Rooms are spacious and aesthetically decorated.evry corner is well utilised with a perfect sitting arrangement,be it a work space or a coffee corner or even the balcony!!!

The restaurant is lively with good music, books and of course a place for wood fired pizza.Food was comforting with perfect blend of spice and taste..

The staff were great.. special thanks to Chetan for being an amazing host and paying attention to our small small needs.

The stay was very comfortable and rejuvenating.. indeed it justifies it's name.highly recommendable
