Location near the metro, Şişli district, responsive, friendly staff, good breakfast, cozy room, cleanness
In the bathroom there was a slight problem with the ceiling
The hotel is located 2 min from the metro Şişli and Cevahir mall. The hotel and room is clean. It’s okay for 1 or 2 nights. The breakfast is good and fresh.
From the moment of check in, it felt like I stayed in some kind of hostel or home stay, not the hotel.
I asked for the room with big window (like on the picture), the receptionist said “okay” and gave me a corner room with a tiny window facing the road where was very loud day and night. My credit card didn’t work to pay at the hotel, and I offered to pay online while the receptionist called me to come downstairs saying: “Come downstairs, I’ll show you how to pay”.
In the evening I asked for a phone charger. And around 12:00 am at midnight I woke up from the noise someone knocking my door without saying anything or at least who it was. Then the receptionist called me saying “My friend will come to get the charger”. When I asked: “Now? It’s 12 o’clock”. He said: “yes”. His “friend” came upstairs to get the charger standing there and smiling flirtatiously. It’s was very creepy, scary and uncomfortable.
The hotel management should instruct the stuff regarding professional manners. Such basic rules as calling guests by name, surname or Sir/Madam not “you”, make a call in appropriate time, and inform and ask for a permission to come up to the room in case of necessity! Not just pop up in the middle of the night in front of the room.
Everything was great the service the staff the location. I would definitely stay again.
