Would recommend especially for the location and helpful friendly staff

The owner very helpful and kind as were all the other staff

A few ants in our bathroom. Sink area a little old and unclean

Pros:

We had a very good time and everyone was just kind. We got plenty of Information and also used the free of charge bicycles for a trip at the area. We also were offered to participate in a nice ‚honeymoon‘ trip which was also a very nice oppotunity. Overall a nice family athmosphere

An absolutely perfect place to stay in Sigiriya
Pros:

Our stay here was wonderful! The owner Sanji took care of us and made our visit so easy and memorable from the moment we landed in Colombo. They arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel and then transportation to any of the activities we wanted to do while in Sigiriya. They had great recommendations for food and activities and helped schedule some truly once and a lifetime experiences like a local village tour which included a boat ride and a lunch cooked by locals.

Sanji organized a safari trip for us with Thinila at the nearby eco park. He was a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable and we saw tons of elephants very up close! Definitely ask for him as your guide if you are doing a safari.

The property is incredibly well kept and clean and the pool was great! We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a place in Sigiriya. The location is great as well! The restaurant at the cottage was also exceptional. Definitely plan to eat breakfast there every morning because it was so good!! Thank you to Sanji and the rest of the staff at the cottage!

At first glance you could easily be disappointed as everything is quite basic. But you can’t help warm to the genuine h

Good size and clean pool. Gardens and care of grounds. Support and genuine care of the owner.

Cons:

Lacked soft and practical touches such as bedside lights, seating, mattress protectors (only one sheet on top of mattress. Air con too cold and couldn’t adjust no blanket first night.

A lovely hidden gem!
Pros:

We loved our stay here! Fabulous location with accommodations in stunning surroundings. The food was delicious, great breakfast and really lovely evening meals. Most of all the hospitality from the owner and the staff was the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. I would highly recommend staying here.
