Staff absolutely brilliant. Very kind
Every member of staff was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We had a lovely welcome when walking into reception and answered any questions we had.
The bar was equally the same, so welcoming and helpful, we had a drink and something to eat, which was served very quickly, but was you could tell it was freshly made, and it was delicious.
Our room was very clean and the bed was amazing, both myself and Husband said it was the best bed we had ever slept in, brilliant nights sleep!

Everything was really clean, our room, the public area, but the carpets really could do with a clean in the bar/breakfast area. Understandably really hard to do when you have a 24/7 bar. Garden/smoking area desperately needs weeding and a tidying up, but again hard to do when the weather isn’t great or you’ve got customers outside.

The stay was very overpriced because it was on a night of a concert at the nearby Ricoh Arena. The hotel decor was tired and in need of refurbishment. For the price charged we would have expected a much better standard of accommodation. This was an example of extreme dynamic pricing, had we known the standard of the property we would not have booked, it certainly makes us wary of booking a Novotel in future.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Location to the stadium is great 10 mins walk away.
The property is dated and filthy dirty, on entrance carpets are disgusting which carries on throughout the halls of the hotel continuing to the bedrooms! Someone had knocked a cup of coffee off the bedside table and splashed up the wall, this hadn’t been cleaned! Wall panels in the room where dusty and had some kind of residue running down? The lift was dirty and damaged inside and sounded as though it was going to breakdown!
