A cosy not very large hotel with very kind and helpful staff. The hotel has an old and a new part. We stayed in the new part. The room was very spacious. The breakfast is a la carte and what you get is a plate with quite a veriety of food which is enough for average people.
Downside is the climate in the room. The owners invested a lot of money in climate control. However, in practice this did not work well. Instead of using regular airconditioning the floor was cooled. However, according to the laws of physiscs, cold air goes down and warm air goes up. So, cooling the floor is not an option for cooling the room. Fortunately we could borrow a ventilator. When the air is flowing through the room, the cold air from the floor is circulated, which makes it working. So hopefully they can invest in more ventilators which makes the investment work.

Great value for money, good, hearty breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. The location is good if you're passing through, with easy access to the highways and the border at Horgos and Kelebijia.
If you're travelling with big luggage, you might have some difficulty as there are some stairs. However the staff is always there to assist. Also, if the hotel is busy, parking might be an issue, but, again, the staff will be more than happy to assist.
Room, big and comfortable, clean, super friendly staff and great breakfast (a la carte)! The location is very good, parking was easy to find.

It will be long :( Old, old rooms with the smell of no airing for long. Spiderwebs, not working air conditioning with bad smell, you hear other guests from patio or you sleep with no oxygen, wet towels and incomplete bedding, cigarettes smell through windows on patio. Another room was even worse with very old bathroom with a broken shower cabin. You don’t rest good in the rooms on the inner patio on ground zero.
We red on Booking that the dogs are welcomed but there can be a fee. We are okay with that (other guests was paying 10 euro as we red on Booking), but guy on the reception shouting on two dogs 50 euro was definitely not okay. After some talks in Serbian/german/english it was 10 euro per dog.
You can have tea to breakfast but coffee is extra paid.
Overall pay more and sleep somwere else if you want to feel comfy or be more patient with your Booking pick than we.

Amazing people and amazing hotel.
Cute quiet hotel in Subotica. Comfortable bed. Good working shower. 20 minutes walking to the center of the city.
