Good location and the building is beautiful
Not really worth £14 a night if I’m honest. WiFi never worked. Rooms weren’t the cleanest and the door felt really not secure.
We spent two wonderful nights at this gorgeous heritage stay, and it was easily one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip. The villa has been beautifully curated and thoughtfully converted into a guest stay, retaining all the charm and character of its heritage roots.
From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The host reached out to us in advance to coordinate our arrival details, making check-in completely hassle-free — a small but much-appreciated touch.
But the real star of this stay was our host. Out of all the places we stayed during our Sri Lanka trip, she was hands down the best. Warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, she went above and beyond at every turn — arranging bike rentals, organizing a whale watching excursion, and always being just a message away whenever we had a question. She also took the time to recommend wonderful local spots to explore and genuinely checked in on all our needs throughout our stay.
The heritage villa itself is a delight, but it's the host's exceptional hospitality that truly elevates this place. If you're looking for a stay where you feel genuinely cared for, look no further.
An absolute gem — highly recommended!
Great location close to Ahangama center and with a beach just across the road. Very nice villa with access to a kitchen and washing machine. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. We were also allowed to stay until the evening because of a late flight home. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely recommend staying here!
nice location, walkable to center, theres a secret beach closeby and the owner is super friendly and helped me with everything, probably one of the most beaufiful rooms i had, money value 100% fullfilled, can recommend

The parking could be a bit better as you have to get out and open/close the roller gate manually each time you go out.

This place felt like a little retreat in Ahangama. The room is super nice - spacious and clean, the bed is really comfortable and the bathroom very spacious as well. The staff is very friendly! The location is really good - close to the beach and close enough to the center but still a little away. The only downside regarding this is it stands close to a temple, so the prayers are very audible really early in the morning. I found the value to be a bit much (considering no breakfast for instance), but compensated for the privacy and overall comfort
