Sehr aufmerksamer Service, Man hat alles was man sich wünschen kann und teilweise Qualitäten, die ich von anderen Hotels nicht kenne (z.B. frischer Überzug für das Kopfkissen des Lesesessels im Zimmer - sehr einladend). Die persönliche Betreuung durch die Eigentümerfamilie und dem Personal ist excellent.

Cons:

Einzelne Installationen im Bad sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

The hotel exudes an old world charm in the best sense of the word, both in terms of service and in terms of the property and its amenities. Its owner, Herr Holzbock, takes personal responsibility of the wellbeing of his guests and seems to know every one of them - a rarity these days! The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet and serene location near a forested area, but still within easy walking distance of the center of the city and the train station. Breakfast buffet is superb, and the service is first class. The spa area is amazing and includes three saunas, a steam bath, a salt bath, and a relaxation room. It is uncrowded and totally peaceful. All in all, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and do plan to visit again.

Fitness room is on the small side, with dated equipment.

We will be coming back again.
Pros:

The hotel has a very "homy" and private atmosphere. All is clean and well thought-through. The service and personnel's attitude are excellent, pleasant and forthcoming. The meals are great, both at dinner and for breakfast.
The SPA size is not big, but sufficient. All is very comfortable.
