Could have been better. 6 days without room phone. What could I do incase of emergency?
Pros:

Location.
Very good staff, almost all, polite

Cons:

I got a lower room than one I paid for. The one I paid for for old & broken. The cheaper one was fairer.
But stayed and extra two days trying to connect.
Will get a refund?
Couldn’t have a safe fixed for 7 days.
Food wasn’t good,
Please don’t post me comments.

Pros:

Zwembad was prachtig en de airconditioning

Cons:

Oude matrassen en kussen, douche werkte niet goed koud water en was niet schoon,meeste personeel niet echt vriendelijk, kamers gedateerd.

Cons:

Some of the staff were colder than in other places in Kenya, it really depends of who you speak with
It was a struggle to find pool beds after 10am, an easy fix for the hotel to buy a few more
I feel the hotel is overpriced - especially the buffet

The quietness of the hotel

Cons:

Lack of food options at dinner time. Breakfast was ok. Chicken stir fry does not need to have greens if this is also on the menu separately. The combination of chicken and greens doesn’t work well

Il ristorante onda beach è molto buono, piatti semplici ma curati, peccato che sia aperto solo a pranzo. le piscine sono molto belle.

Cons:

Colazione deludende, prodotti andati a male, croissant molli, attese lunghissime per caffè.
Ristorante la terrace, ristorante che presenta molto bene, l’unico aperto la sera a bordo mare, propone un menu a un prezzo astronomico, menù basico senza piatti di pesce, o due piatti speciali a base di pesce ancora più cari, ma uno indisponibile. Quindi abbiamo preso l’aragosta ma e stata distrutta da una salsa davvero pessima.
La nostra camera aveva la porta interna che nn si chiudeva, lasciando libero accesso a tutto. Nonostante le chiamate multiple, il problema non è stato risolto. Quindi l’indomani, senza informarci, rientrando in camera e trovando la camera non fatta, abbiamo scoperto che avevamo deciso di cambiarci la stanza. La seconda stanza, quando arriviamo non è pronta, aria condizionata che non funzione, asciugamani mancanti..il tutto si risolve dopo più di un’ora.
La SPA, molto bella, ma il personale, bravo nei massaggi, manca di attenzione al cliente e di savoir faire. Prezzi europei.
Il personale distratto e senza capacità di problem solving.
La spiaggia ha pochissimi lettini rispetto alla capacità dell’hotel, devi arrivare prima a prendere le sdraio e sperare che nessuno te lo prenda.
Il mare dà davvero poca voglia di bagnarti e appena metti una punta dinpiede fuori sei aggredito dai beach boys.

Pros:

The Diamonds Malindi is more then recommendable, we had such a great time there. Very nice Junior Suite, the Hotelbaus well maintained and stylish. The staff is very friendly and does it’s best to give you a great time. The breakfast buffet is first class. The pools are very clean and no too much chlorine. Specially I wanna recommend the Blue Fin Diving School with it’s instructor Emmanuel, who does a great job. It was my first dive and I not felt a second unsafe.
