Staying here was absolute paradise! We had the most amazing few days relaxing by the pool, surfing at the beach, watching unbelievable sunsets and eating delicious home cooked food!
The surf lessons were amazing - we got 121 instructors which was amazing as we were both complete beginners. Every member of staff was so lovely, patient, and knowledgeable.
They catered to our dietary requirements without hesitation (pescatarian and gluten free). Our room was spotlessly clean and had amazing views of the bay. We loved having the howler monkeys watching from the treetops. Cocktails were great too!
Nothing
Views are incredible, rooms are perfect (but no a.c. In deluxe room), beach is really nice, great dinner, staff is considerate, the area around the hotel is unique
Breakfasts are a bit of a let down, no options, always cold, cold coffee, free breakfast is only granola and coffee
Food is extremely expensive, more than twice what you pay elsewhere (more than 20-25$ US per plate)
Activities are expensive
Beach is 15 minutes walking, 4 minutes by car
Not any food options nearby
Location and facilities are BREATHTAKING! We've read the comments prior to booking and they all were right. Gabriel is a pure angel, going beyond and above ! Food was delicious, and the staff was so welcoming and smiling that we regretted not staying more! The private beach is perfect for surfing or relaxing and swimming. We will definitely come back and next time we will experience the Casitas !
Communal dining
A little too remote. No yoga was offered while I was there
Beautiful, remote location. Perfect place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. Beach is phenomenal and private
Very very nice hotel. Dinner was amazing. The view absolutly breathtaking.
Staff really nice.
Do the boat tour!
Bed a little bit small.
Everything
The views are great and the small hotel with shared meals creates a nice community with the other guests. Food is wonderful. Wildlife including howler monkeys (also your alarm clock) around everywhere.
Our room didn’t have a lock or hot water. Not having hot water would have been okay if it didn’t rain the whole stay. We brought up the lack of lock and all they said is the area is safe… my house at home is safe but I still look the doors…
Everything! The location was incredible- breathtaking. The staff, especially Junior and Gabriel, went over and above. Food wonderful too.
Nothing
Everything.
Nothing.
Authentic, well prepared
Very nice private beach, quiet place to relax
The location is quite remote and challenging to reach, especially without your own vehicle. It leaves you entirely dependent on the hotel, even for meals, and the prices for food are exceptionally high for Nicaragua, often more than double the usual rates. Dinner options were limited to just one choice.
Moreover, all the activities come at an extra cost, and there are no outstanding attractions nearby. On top of that, the room was small, situated below the dining area, making it quite noisy as every footstep could be heard early in the morning and at night.
The "casita" with the sea view was amazing! Every time we entered the casita I was mesmerized by the view.
The vibe is very chill and both the staff and the guests seemed to be always in a good mood.
Besides the hotel and the restaurant at the beach, there are not too many options for food. And the beach restaurant wasn't always open (perhaps because it was low season). However, the food at the hotel was always very nice and they kindly prepared for us a snack on the day the beach restaurant was closed.
Staff was amazing, beautiful views and the food was delicious!
Nothing, everything was great.
Absolutely stunning views of the ocean, monkeys up in the trees, Cozy clean tree houses , tasty home made food , private beach
