A treasure in a lovely town.
Pros:

The service is lovely, loved the history, room was clean and quiet and has everything u need.

Cons:

Thicker blankets for winter, the Ac saved me but just not a fan of sleeping with it on while I sleep.

Good value stop
Pros:

Didnt really meet staff, except lady who let us in to breakfast, she was not very friendly, but it was fine for overnight quick stop,clean enough, comfortable, if not small rooms, with continental brekky. A 7am brekky would make more sense for most people who just want to get away

I stayed one Thursday, and immediately book for my return trip the following week. Excellent value!
Pros:

The breakfast was cereal, toast, juice, tea and coffee. It was more than I would have at home, and it was a great start to the day.

Cons:

The hotel was in need of a little love, however I could not fault the room, or the staff.

Pet peeve is when the sink is too small for the kettle or drink bottles to fit under it. Also a shame that breakfast room didnt open until 8am.

Keep pet friendly rooms for those travelling with pets and don’t expose your other guests to the filth,

I have stayed at this motel twice before, in rooms upstairs, however, this stay I was booked in a ground floor room. This motel is a pet friendly stay, I do not travel with a pet but the room that I had been booked into had obviously had dogs stay there previously, the carpet was disgusting, grossly dirty and severely stained. I took photos. You could at least clean the carpets after having pets stay.
The toilet didn’t flush well.
The local channels on the TV had only sound, no picture. Could not rectify this with re tuning.
I will never again choose this motel for my stay
