Мы немного не угадали с бронированием и забронировали стандарт. Для двоих взрослых и ребенка было недостаточно места разложить одежду. Попытались поменять за доплату на номер катергорией повыше, но к сожалению все было забронировано.

Im Restaurant beim Abendessen die teilweise Badekleidung und Badelatschen..!!! Das reißt das ganze Ambiente herunter, und mindert auch die Qualität des Hotels…. das ist wirklich schade..!! Hier gehört am Eingang kontrolliert, und die Leute dann freundlich zurück gewiesen…!!

Das Wasser im Kinderpool hätte etwas wärmer sein können, für unseren Sohn war es zu kalt. Ansonsten sind wir sehr mit dem Hotel zufrieden gewesen.

Wifi was not great. Rooms were generally clean but I did notice some areas of the bathroom which could do with more attention - tiles around toilet, etc. Water in fridge on arrival would have been helpful.

Nothing

The building is ostentatiously spick and span but smiles to deceive. Lifts were a little unreliable so we walked mostly from floor 7. It was once magnificent but things like blocking drainage and the lifts were noticeable. Outside details showed wear. The maintenance man was very good and friendly but could not be expected to rebuild the whole system. Sitting on our balcony I was impressed by the loudness of the kitchen fans below - and the variation in food odour which accompanied it.
The hotel is at the end of a road, of which the onward part to Mogan has been blocked by a landslide for years, although this is not noted on the road signs, so people try to reach it from Mogan at the closer exit from the motorway according GPS and go round in circles.
The area is one huge holiday factory - OK for ice creams and swimming but not a walking base. Not a cycling base either - unless you transport your bike first by car somewhere else you only have one rugged coast road for the first 15km.
Everywhere you try to drive, there are parked cars. You spend a long time looking for a place to stop.
Inland the roads are frequented by many cyclists (I am one) which makes it difficult and potentially dangerous to drive over the narrow very twisty passes. The villages are choked with cars. An outing by car makes you glad to get back. For the cyclists the problem is all the cars and for the motorists, the cyclists. There isn't room for both.
The hotel is described as family friendly. Well there were certainly many families, mostly with small children and babies at the end of February. There were also many very large people and a few invalided people. I am not criticising this, but possible there had been a group visit planned at our time.
Anywhere else along this piece of coast is also overbuilt with large hotels which hide any natural beauty unless you look to the sea.

La habitación y el servicio

Je n'ai pas trouvé : amabilité du personnel, gentillesse, empathie, sourire, patience, disponibilité, volonté sincère de résoudre les problèmes. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais, sauf à la réception. Au bar ils ne comprennent rien ou font semblant de ne rien comprendre, on se demande si ça ne les amuse pas un peu de parler aux clients de façon brutale et peu respectueuse. Pas classe en tout cas.
Il n'y a aucun service pour aider à porter les bagages, aucune aide, même payante n'est proposée, quand on a des problèmes de mobilité je ne recommande pas l'hôtel. Je n'ai pas apprécié la façon dont les personnes de l'hôtel m'ont parlée quand j'ai eu besoin de quelque chose, ils n'étaient pas aimables, pas polis selon mes critères, je dirais tous limite agressifs, excédés, ils ne sont pas sereins ni détendus. Si comme moi vous avez un problème (matelas extrêmement inconfortable à ressorts) ne vous attendez pas à être traité avec respect, je passe sur les épisodes de ma réclamation, c'est juste parce que j'ai demandé à être remboursé par BOOKING que le housekeeper est arrivé une heure après ma réclamation en ligne avec un autre matelas de très bonne qualité alors qu'on m'avait juré que le matelas dans ma chambre était identique à tous ceux de l'hôtel et qu'en aucune manière on pouvait me le changer. J'ai perdu un jour de vacances sur quatre à cause d'une nuit blanche et d'une crise de nerf. Le spa est en travaux, il n'y a qu'un petit sauna mixte. Les massages sont très chers, bien oui, mais très ordinaires.
