I wish I had read the reviews before booking at this hotel, my experience was very bad that I feel I need to warn others.
The photos of the hotel looked great online, but the reality was completely different. When I arrived, they couldn’t find my booking. After a long back-and-forth at reception, I was told I’d have to pay cash for two nights just to stay.
While I was sorting this out, other guests approached me to complain that they didn’t even have water in their rooms, which was already very concerning. Unfortunately, things only got worse when I finally got into mine.
The room was unbearably hot even though the weather was already hot outside. There was no proper cooling, only cold water in the shower, the safe didn’t work, and the TV didn’t work either. On top of that, there was a strong damp smell throughout the hotel, likely from leaking ceilings.
I informed reception that I have asthma and breathing issues, but the response I got was dismissive and unprofessional basically telling me that “everyone has health issues” and it’s not a big deal. That was honestly shocking.
I told him I wanted to cancel the next night and move to another hotel, but would stay just one night. The staff member kept coming in and out of my room trying to fix the TV, giving me no chance to rest. With the heat and poor air quality, I struggled to breathe, and it felt like the hot air was hitting the back of my throat. Opening the window didn’t help much because it was extremely noisy outside.
When I insisted I’d rather leave, the staff member became rude and dismissive, telling me to “just sleep one night.” When I asked if he could guarantee my health, he avoided the question and remained unhelpful. He also told me all rooms share the same systems (water, heating, TV), and after showing me three other rooms, it was clear they all had the same issues.
To make matters worse, it didn’t seem like the bedding and towels had been properly washed.
