Residence Kugler is a true gem! It's right in the heart of San Candido, yet tucked away from the crowds of the nearby square.
Our room was beautiful, spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having access to the on-site laundry and dryer was also incredibly convenient. Yes, as others have mentioned you can hear the church bells at times during the day but we found them charming and part of the authentic atmosphere. It’s a small price to pay for waking up every morning with a front-row view of the beautiful Collegiate of San Candido.
The icing on the cake was the wonderful hospitality of the owners who made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. What a special holiday this was.
We will definitely be back!

Everything

The hosts were very helpful, even offering to meet us at the train station to pick up our luggage. On request they provided a digital Sudtirol Guest Pass, which makes it very easy to access hiking in the area and transfer to the next location. The location is fantastic - right in the centre of San Candido, which is a pedestrian area so there is no traffic noise. The room has double-glazing and shutters to help control the room temperature and muffle the sounds of the church bells on Sunday morning.

Läget var bra. Boendet är vid torget, mitt i byn. Nära till mataffär, restauranger och till skidliften. Städningen var perfekt. Lägenhet var stor och mysig. Perfekt för oss fyra i familjen. Parkeringen var ett stenkast bort i ett garage.

Super nice apartment, we loved the place! All the furniture, doors etc are of high quality wood, you can tell everything was build thoughtfully (we had bunk beds, there was a small shelf by the top bunk, seems like a small detail but super convenient, we appreciated it.) The hosts are very friendly:)
The parking garage is located close to the property, we liked that it was an underground parking since it was quite hot during our stay (end of June, there was a heat wave)
Rooms are cool, there was no need for AC. View from the window was amazing.
Loved our stay, would definitely come back.

Excellent accommodation, super clean, wonderful host family. San Candido is our favorite Dolomites location. The town is small enough to be quaint and yet big enough to have great bakeries, gelato, pizza and vibe. It is 20 minutes from the gorgeous Lake Braies and a short drive to Tre Cime. The apartment itself is one of the best we have ever stayed in, it was spotless clean. The host is very attentive and kind and made the stay very comfortable and we look forward to returning soon!

The location is excellent, and having on‑site parking is a real bonus. The apartment is tastefully decorated—spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The young host couple is warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A wonderful stay overall.

Zentrale Lage im Ort und als Ausgangspunkt für Berg- und Radtouren in der Region. Sehr nettes Personal. Sehr schöne und saubere Wohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung.

This accommodation is situated perfectly in San Candido with immediate access to all shops, cafes and restaurants. The hosts are so friendly and helpful, helping us plan our trips from San Candido. The apartment itself is perfectly equipped and totally clean and tidy. Thank you for a brilliant stay!
