Really nice place to stay, I enjoyed a couple of BBQ with Pepe & Steeve O, Pepe and his friends played tropical music and that was really nice, the hostel is clean and very cosy, I also went diving with Pepe; we were at a couple of amazing reefs.

- Hostel has all the necessary facilities to have a good time (several bathrooms, kitchen, strong wifi, pool, hammocks, BBQ, A/Cs, some fitness equipment) but is small enough to feel familiar and to really get to know the owners/managers and other guests
- Dive trips are organized and led by the hostel, fun if you are looking to meet dive buddies and do group trips
- Although general maintenance could be better (a lot of the furniture and kitchenware is clearly old and the walls could do with some fresh paint) there's rigorous daily cleaning, so the kitchen and other common areas are spotless
- The hostel owners/managers are also happy to help with renting a scooter (which gets delivered to the doorstep), rent out bicyles themselves, and have plenty of tips for local bars and restaurants
- An overall very fun, laid back vibe and great for solo travelers
- As mentioned above, there could be some upgrading to the furniture, painting, and pans. The design is definitely more basic and DIY compared to the super-modern hostels you can find in bigger cities.
- The hostel has a dog and a cat. Some folks might book this under the "positives", I'm not a fan of pets and another guest was allergic, so might be good to mention this somewhere upfront.
- The location is ok, but not super convenient unless you have a mode of transport (like a scooter, which I'd highly recommend in any case). There's a coffee shop, convenience store, pharmacy and eateries closeby, but it's quite far to walk to the center/beach.
La casa es preciosa y Pepe hace todo lo posible para que te sientas a gusto. Ademas puedes ir a bucear con el equipo a sitios increibles.

Mi estadía eran 3 días y terminé quedándome 2 semanas! Lo mejor del hostel son las vibes y la gente de ahí! Definitivamente volveré ahí!

This hostel has the perfect hostel vibe. Friendly and welcoming staff. The best dice instructor I've met - Pepe. Easy to socialize and also to be by yourself if you're an introvert. There's a kitchen, a pool, and a bbq. Close to Wallmart. Very good security. I'd stay here again!
It's a 35-minute walk from the ferry. There wasn't any hot water in the bathroom in my dorm, but the staff told me it was in the other dorm.
Die Leute sind super nett. Da die Besitzer auch die Tauchschule betreiben ist es einfach alles zu organisieren.
Superbe endroit. Idéal si l’on voyage pour pratiquer de la plongée, Rudy et Pépé ont énormément d’expérience dans le domaine et sont hyper accessibles.
Il y est très facile de vivre en communauté avec les autres résidents car les espaces et les gérants facilitent les échanges entre chacun. Et si ce n’est pas ce que l’on cherche alors ils le respectent aussi.
Globalement un lieu de communauté très facile à vivre que je recommande !
La localisation pourrait être meilleure mais le prix la compense largement.
In this hostel I felt truly welcome, the hosts and volunteers esp. Pepe are just so friendly, it was amazingly easy to meet people as there‘s a party or hangout going on almost every night and the hosts and their friends are part of it. They have very pretty open common areas, great kitchen, a nice pool, there‘s 3 turtles and an iguana living in the yard. Even though the hostel is a little further from the harbour supermarkets are super close and you can rent a bicycle or moped to get around the island. I did my first dive ever here and it was an amazing experience, I felt very safe, would definitely recommend. The triple bunk beds were also surprisingly comfortable.
the bathroom could be a little cleaner and cleaned on a more regular basis but nothing terrible

Le logement est à 30m à pied du port, donc assez loin, mais dans tout les cas vous allez louer un scooter pour vous balader sur l’île donc 🤷♂️

Die Möglichkeit Fahrräder und Schnorchelgequipment auszuleihen war gegeben.
Genauso wie gute Insider Tips wo man gut schnorcheln kann.
Noch eine Nebeninfo. Immer mittwochs kann in der Innenstadt Salsa getanzt werden. Nehmt das mit wenn ihr könnt :)

The staff were excellent and are constantly looking for ways to improve the hostel. They have a strong vision in mind for how the hostel should evolve. They were also great fun to dive with!
The bunks were tight!
