A small affortable and quiet hotel that suits perfectly small budgets
Pros:

The hotel was a value for money because it has near 70€ per night with a basic breakfast, when hotels in Geel were 100$ or more. For 5 nights that I stayed this was OK. A very good characteristic was unlimited coffee and tea 24/7. I really enjoyed this. The room was very quiet. The breakfast even though it was very basic and few, at least it was something to start the day. Television had many channels, some in English so it was ok to watch a movie. The heating was very good. Also, the desk was ok for my laptop because I had to prepare some powerpoints and it was comfortable. As a positive feature I will say the heating boiler so I could prepare my hot drinks easily.

Cons:

Major problems 1) wifi very bad in my room. The laptop and my mobile keep disconnecting every 5 minutes. I could not even connect reliable over ssh/rdp. I had to activate a mobile roaming data plan on my mobile and my laptop had connection over my mobile. 2) breakfast very basic. it has bread and 2 cheese and two salami, nutela and a fruit jam, yogurt and some breakfast cereals. Not a fruit or an egg. I was hopping to find these. 3) Cleaning was very bad. For 5 days my room was not cleaned-- The garbage bin overflowed from the waste when I left.. 4) The last bus from Geel runs at 22:00 so if you want to return from the city of Geel later you have to take a taxi. 5) the bathroom tap leaked and it made the tipping noise so I had to always have the toilet door closed. Bus from this city to Geel was every 30 minutes in peak hour and every 1 hour in other times, so you had to schedule your transit very careful.

A great find within easy distance of Eindhoven Airport.
Pros:

Very well located small hotel.
The owner was very pleasant and couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable.

Cons:

There is only limited parking. 4 spaces on the hotel forecourt, all of which were occupied whilst I was there. However there is ample parking on the roadside and on a nearby sidestreet.

Cons:

Check-in on sunday is only using a check-in code that is mailed to you. I didn't know my room number. It was easy to resolve though with a phone call.

In de ochtend zag ik 2 aardige mensen die daar werkte.

Cons:

Leek op een spook hotel ik durfde bijna niet naar binnen en er was geen personeel om je te ontvangen. Kamer was ijskoud. Douche beschimmeld etc. Overal in de kamer lag stof, deze stof is helemaal op mijn longen geslagen. In de nacht hoorde ik mensen keihard gillen op de gang

Verouderd hotel en simpel ontbijt
Pros:

Vriendelijke mevrouw bij aankomst, ontbijt lekker maar heel basic

Cons:

Ferm verouderd hotel, tijd is daar blijven stilstaan, tapijt vuil, harde matras, in 1 persoonskamer vuile koffietas, vuile kousen onder bed, stinkend hoofdkussen. Hoognodig grondig te poetsen of vernieuwen

We hoefde niet duur te overnachten, dus dat het niet luxe of dergelijke was, was voor ons geen probleem.
Maar de kamers waren gewoon echt vies, veel schimmel in de douches, vloeren langs niet gestofzuigd, overal stof.
Op 2 kamers maar 1 handdoek, terwijl we met zijn 5e over 2 kamers zaten.
In totaal met 11 personen over 4 kamers verdeelt, andere 2 kamers waren redelijk, in ieder geval iets netter.
