The owners have done an amazing job with this historical space. Keeping the flavor of the time while bringing in modern conveniences. Tons of room. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Our suite was amazing. It was like we had our own apartment. The kitchen was very well appointed and had small touches like salt, pepper and even olive oil. The smart TV allowed us to watch all of our favourite Apps. It exceeded all of our expectations - across the board.

This newly renovated room was spotless, spacious, and super comfortable—with a great bed and even a washer/dryer. Located right on Ladysmith’s charming main street, it’s close to everything. The host was fantastic and communication was smooth. Highly recommend!

What a fabulous property, we thoroughly loved our stay at the Temperance Hotel. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed.
We were across the street from a Gluten Free cafe which was a nice surprise. You can walk through the beautiful town of Ladysmith and down to the water.
We highly recommend this hotel if you want a home away from home while you are travelling.

What an incredible place the Temperance Hotel is. Beautifully renovated. We stayed in room No. 4 and it was perfect for the two of us. The owners did a fantastic job both decorating and making this such a comfortable place to stay. Denise even dropped off some lemon tarts from Old Town Bakery (as it would be closed during our stay). Yes, we would stay here again.

Beautifully restored 1900 hotel! The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and had great amenities - great little kitchen, comfy bed and beautiful bathroom. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Temperance Hotel. The ambience of the space was lovely, thoughtfully designed and incorporated some of the original materials of the original interior. It was a peaceful place to stay, right in the heart of the town. We would definitely stay there again.

The place was wonderful - clean and spacious with a full and well-appointed kitchen. The owners were really responsive and helpful. The hotel is right on the Main Street of Ladysmith, which is a beautiful town with great shops, cafes, hiking and vineyards all around. We spent four nights here and had a great time. Highly recommend.

Lovely accommodations. Easy access and comfortable

We had a lovely stay at Temperance Hotel. The rooms are recently renovated and everything was very comfortable. Great air conditioning and easy check in/out.

Amazing locally owned hotel. I've stayed in I think 4/5 suites now and each one has been great. Each is a great apartment style space, with full kitchen (I believe one of the suites has a kitchenette only) and so far has always had some kitchen essentials on hand like oil, salt/pepper etc. Makes staying in hotel for work much nicer, not having to eat out for every meal.

Great location, very close to cafes, bars, unique shops and grocery stores a bit further away.

Would definitely stay again.

Newly renovated suite had all the amenities and was very clean. Our contact person was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Have recommended this property too friends and family and would definitely return.

Small Hotel, beautifully renovated rooms, more of a suite than a Hotel Room. Full size fridge, dishwasher, huge shower, private entrance, etc. etc.

Beautiful property, very well maintained and clean! Owner/hostess friendly and concerned that we were always comfortable. Very attractive features and decor. Loved our stay!!

Very tastefully renovated!!! I would change nothing. It felt like home. It had lots if space, super comfortable king bed, an amazing bathroom and we just loved the central location in Ladysmith. Denise and Stefan were very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. 5 stars!!!!

Amazing hotel with apartment style suites, most with a full kitchen. Right downtown with restaurants and shops right nearby.

Temperance Hotel is lovely! Spacious living room, clean, comfortable couch, adequate kitchen items. Huge and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended.
