Pros:

Kartano oli hienolla paikalla Kemijoen rannassa.

Cons:

Puutteita: voiveitsiä ja leipäveitsiä ei ollut. Myöskään hiustenkuivaaja ei toiminut. Pesuhuonetila oli aika kylmä. Lisäksi olisin toivonut huoneeseen jonkinlaista naulakkoa.

Todella rauhallinen , siisti ja viihtyisä paikka. Aamiaistarpeet olivat jääkaapissa odottamassa.

Siisti ja hiljainen. Tosi ystävällinen ja ymmärtäväinen emäntä. Ihan perus aamupala, oli vielä yksi siivu juustoakin jäljellä kun menin 😅

Cons:

Kallis hinta huoneesta jossa ei edes omaa vessaa tai suihkua. Vesi hanoista tosi pienellä paineella. Lykkyä tykö jos meinaat pestä pitkiä / paksuja hiuksia... Pihalla ei yövaloja, vaikea nähdä pimeällä.

Pros:

Aamiainen oli hyvä. Aterimia etsiskelin, en hoksannut pientä laatikkoa lipaston yläreunassa ennen kuin toinen yöpyjä sen minulle hoksautti. Ehkä siihen laatikon ulkopuolelle olisi hyvä laittaa pieni lappu😊

Basic accommodation, not as cosy as we hoped
Pros:

The location is really nice (wonderful sunset view), the manor house looks nice and the main dining/ conference room looks very nice. The rooms are big and the bed is comfortable. The communication with the host (in view of our late arrival) was really good. There is also a sauna (that we did not try in the end).

Cons:

Overall, I would not say this property met our expectations or that it is the best value for money. There is no WiFi, the rooms (while nicely decorated in a minimalist way) lack some basic amenities (for eg, it would be good to have some hangers for the towels), the showers are only in the sauna area (not private) or in the bathroom for persons with disabilities. Maybe what contributed the most to the "not great" feeling was the lack of personnel and the fact that the breakfast (not a great variety of food) was left in a small common fridge for next day. A bit of a weird concept, not really a lodge as one could not use a kitchen/ shared spaces, but it did not feel like a proper bed&breakfast and it did not have a manor, cosy vibe either.
