Important information:

When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. The property will contact the guest following their reservation.

We have no parking facilities on site and directly outside the hotel there are double red lines which means we do not have a drop off/pick up area for luggage. Before parking in one the recommended car parks below, the best place to park to drop off safely is the Reading Station Short Stay Car Park which is free for 20 minutes and is located opposite the hotel.

When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu and a side dish . Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available.

Comfortable but no aircon good location but would make sure there were no steps down to the bathroom

Handy location comfortable bed

Affordable, comfortable, perfect location. Wonderful rooms and bar staff.
Pros:

A perfect jumping off point leaving London behind relax in Reading for a day or two and renting a car to continue our travels. The location couldn't be better for luggage heavy travellers.

Great stay. Would book again
Pros:

We upgraded to a suite on arrivals which was a lovely room. Room was large and spacious, lovely bathroom with double shower. Excellent location 2 minutes from the train station and in the centre of town.

Cons:

Air condition is broken，Windows is completely locked . So it is very hot at night，hotter than outside！空调坏了，窗户封死的，晚上闷热难熬，比大街上还闷热多了，热得无法入睡。

Too expensive for what’s on offer.

Good location

Cons:

No hot water. Got offered a new room on different floor but as it was almost 10pm I declined. Not impressed when room service was delivered and card machine would not work and was asked why I didn’t allow extras on my card (er, because this was not offered as an option at reception!). Room tired and dated.

Location. Room size. The breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Abbey, museum and river all in minutes of walking...great place to stay if you don't want the big city rat race vibe on your first day in country.
