Nice
Noise from other Tennants when complained staff did nothing about it .
Generator starts for two hours each night which I do understand if the grid stops .but the Generator was under the window of the room i was staying in it needs to be moved . The bed had a mattress around two inches thick it was the hardest bed I have ever slept on .
Pros: 1.Accesible.
2.Enough parking space for 4 vehicles. Even
more can be accomodated in the courtyard
if need be.
3. The staff. Rizwan bhai Danish bhai and. other brothers were very nice and welcoming.
We were allowed to cook in the courtyard for
our kid.
4. Away from the hustle and bustle of the
town by about 1.5 kms. Situated on the
. Betab and Chandanwari road. Betab valley
. is merely 15 minutes away from there.
5. The rooms are basic. Android TV. Free Wifi.
24 hour running hot water. Electic bed
warmers.
Cons: 1. The mattress was kinda stiff in all rooms.
2. The food is ordered from another place
and took some 1.5 hours to arrive. The
portion was quite sizeable, though.
Danish bhai and co. are very good hosts. They took care of my family like their own , though the hotel looks little basic but the hospitality covers up everything . The beautiful lawn outside is a great place to enjoy a hot cup of tea..
My overall experience is good and The quality of the food is very good.
Overall experience was ok.
I had high expectations based on the reviews on booking.com but it wasnt the case. its a budget stay and almost delivers what you pay for.
What could be better?
The toilet bowl in my room wasnt clean all the way through on the inside and there was no ventilation in the washroom due to which once you poop, the smell stays in the toilet. Hot water is not available 24/7.
What I like:
The heating on the bed works well. View is beautiful from the window. Mattress was firm.
The hosts are amazing, very patient and attentive. Once we informed that the bedding wasnt changed from the last guest, they immediately attended to it.
The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated our room service requests in time.
The washrooms were clean with constant hot water and room beds have electric blankets and layered blankets which kept us cosy. Beautiful location as there is a stream that runs 5 mins from property.
Location is 20 minutes from the main market area. It is best preferred to have your cab with you or the staff can help with the cabs.
It Was too bad, will not recommend it to anyone...

If Kashmir is heaven on earth, then Dream Land Cottage is Pehal Gam's gateway to heaven.
Rizwan, the owner, was extremely hospitable and helpful. The location was just perfect, it wasn't in the main market area but had great connectivity to the main areas. The view and scenery were wonderful to wake up to every morning.
It would be great to have room heaters as well during the winter.
Great location, fresh air, room service ,was looked after you ask and owners are there too assist ,help if they can ..Nice gentle owners
