Pros:

The views were fantastic however the rooms need an update and deep clean. Service was meh, they could not Mail postcards that already had stamps. They gave us a hard time when we asked for a fork to eat a dessert we bought off premise. They could have been more accommodating.

If you are looking for a stay that offers closeness to Tamarindo's night life but also evening quiet
Pros:

Staff was excellent . Front desk made a phone call on my behalf thank you very much. Shuttle is so nice to have. Just outside of town so quiet in the evenings for us older folks. The view is top notch . Access to the Beach club is fantastic. Breakfast was very nice and bountiful .

Cons:

Would like a chair in the room. A few more bird dropping than I would like but I understand its and open environment. I ate there several times. Please put some fleshy fish in the seafood soup with the shell fish .

Séjour très agréable pour un établissement 4 étoiles.
Pros:

L’établissement est très bien situé. Toutes les chambres ont une magnifique vue sur la baie de Tamarindo. Les lits sont confortables et la chambre spacieuse. Seul bémol pour la salle de bain: lorsque l’on ouvre la porte, elle cogne sur la toilette, donc la porte ne s’ouvre pas toute grande. Toutefois, une fois fermée, c’est parfait. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très courtois et à l’écoute de la clientèle. Il y a amplement de chaises autour de la piscine. Ce n’est jamais arrivé qu’aucune ne soit disponible. Ce qu’il faut savoir, c’est que le soleil plombe directement sur la chaise à compter de 13:00. Malheureusement, ce n’est pas toutes les chaises qui jouissent d’un parasol. Si j’avais à recommander quelque chose, c’est l’ajout de parasol pour toutes les chaises. Le service de navette pour le centre de Tamarindo est parfait: la navette part toujours à l’heure et il y a environ 14-16 places dans la navette. Si jamais le nombre de personnes est supérieur pour les espaces disponibles dans la navette, le chauffeur revient immédiatement pour prendre les autres touristes. Le trajet de l’hôtel au Beach Club est de 6-7 minutes, pas plus.

Cons:

Les cocktails au bar de la piscine: peu goûteux et faits probablement avec des mix commerciaux. Le buffet du petit déjeuner manque de variété. Durant notre séjour (14 jours), ce fut toujours les mêmes fruits frais: papaye, melon d’eau et ananas. Je n’ai jamais vu de mangues! Quant au plats chauds, c’est presque toujours la même chose: oeufs brouillés, plats locaux (riz, légumes, bananes plantains et pommes de terre).

L’ameublement sur le balcon: chaises pas confortables du tout. Nous avons demandé à ce qu’elles soient changées. Nous avons eu un genre de chaise de bureau en matériel. Au lieu d’une petite table, il y a une grosse bûche! Vraiment, l’ameublement du balcon serait à changer en entier.

Pros:

This property makes you think it’s right in front of the beach, but that’s not true. There is actually a long distance to the beach, and it’s quite far away.

Cons:

For the two days I stayed there, it was extremely hot and the air conditioning did not work the way it was supposed to. I called both nights, and nothing was done. Only when I was two hours away from checking out did someone finally come to “fix” it — how wonderful, right?

The breakfast had no variety. The eggs were awful, and don’t even get me started on the pancakes. They were stuck to the paper, not warm or fresh at all — they were so hard they felt like the sole of a shoe. Honestly, it was very disappointing and frustrating.

Excelente!
Pros:

A vista do Hotel é maravilhosa! Assistir o por do sol da piscina foi um dos momentos mais fantásticos da Costa Rica. O quarto é excelente. O café da manhã muito bom. Disponibilizam toalhas pra praia. Possuem um beach club muito bom. Voltaria com ctz.

Cons:

A localização apesar de ter uma vista incrível, fica longe de tudo pra quem está sem carro.

Pros:

The pool, layout, and was quiet.

Cons:

The only issue we had was when we arrived at the property to book a room. The girl said that there was only one room left with twin beds in it. We were not interested in that room. We left and I was looking on Booking.com and there were a few rooms available, so we booked the one with the king size bed on the eighth floor. We went back to the property. I showed her this and our confirmation number and all she said “oh that was a premium room”. The room wasn’t ready so we took the shuttle down to the beach, which was fantastic and when we came back in the afternoon, the gentleman that checked us in was wonderful and offered us a bottle of wine for our troubles. That was thoughtful but we don’t drink wine. Other than that, it was quite lovely.

Privacidad, musica en vivo durante la cena, parqueo, vista al mar, balcón, beach club, restaurante y servicios, la estadía fue muy agradable en general.

Cons:

Falta mantenimiento, llavin de la puerta del baño de la habitacion 1301 no funcionaba, muchos de los números de las habitaciones del primer piso no tenían alguno de los dígitos lo cual daba impresión de descuido, el aire acondicionado de esa habitación hacia mucho ruido que no parece ser normal aunque funcionaba bien.

Wonderful Stay & Staff
Pros:

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel lobby is outstanding, with stunning views over the pool, overseeing the town, and out to the ocean. Sunsets from the room patio, pool deck or restaurant were exceptional. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, we were so appreciative. The location of the hotel made for a perfect tamarindo stay. Close enough to walk during the day (if you like some exercise), with the ease of the shuttle for the evening if you prefer. It was a retreat from the busy town to relax at the pool, have a low-key dinner outside of town, or relax in the room. Everything was clean, including the public spaces. The breakfast had plenty of options, and regular menu was lovely. Overall, a fantastic stay.
