Excellent food, rooms, and service combined with an amazing, serene, location
Pros:

View and location are outstanding. Cozy room with plenty of space, strong amenities (including a regular supply of bottled water), and everything needed for cold nights (powerful space heater and bed warmers). Food is excellent . Outstanding staff who patiently problem solved, checked in regularly, and proactively provided support when I got sick (caught something while riding up on bus). This is really an amazing location to visit and spend a few quiet, reflective, days outside the hustle and bustle of so many Indian cities.

Cons:

Building is having some minor power connection issues that are being worked on - would occasionally result in a brief blackout. This didn't pose any substantial challenges. Due to winter conditions and need to refill reservoirs daily, water has to be turned on and off periodically. This created some challenges in getting hot water for showers due to the need to ensure that, once water was turned back on, the water heater was re-charged while it is in heating mode. Not a major issue - but took a few extra tries to figure out the process. Some additional written instructions on this would help.

The breakfast was so substantial that I felt a little ungrateful for having to decline some of the courses.

It was an excellent stay at Hotel Rollingrang, Kalpa.
Pros:

The location of Hotel Rollingrang is such that there is a clear view of Kinnaur Kailash Mountain Range from the room itself. The food also is excellent. The staff is very courteous and helpful.

Fantastic....
Pros:

I was there for one day with my family. It excellent hotel, all the specialties are neat, clean, and hygienic. Very good conversations with the hotel staff(Mr. Mahinder is a very good and nice person), and service support is excellent. Fantastic view of the Kinner Kailash mountain range from Balcony   Restaurant foods is tasty. We are likely to stay again. Value for money.

Cons:

Nothing everything is perfect in this hotel.

Amazing Hotel at amazing location with a zillion dollar view, balcony, free parking, garden for outdoor dining. Rooms are clean, bed, bedsheets and quilt are kept clean. Rooms are spacious, service was good, service staff is very helpful. Food is reasonably priced (slightly costlier than expected, but good). Amazing stay.....Many thanks

Pros:

we had a wonderful time in this hotel. the staff is amazing, so helpful and nice, always there if you need them, we had a problem booking our train and the manager helped us with everything! the rooms and bathrooms are clean, the rooms are very cozy too, and the view… the best in Kalpa. in the morning you can hear the prayers from the monastery down in the village, and with good weather conditions you can see all the mountain peaks. The food was delicious!!!! just a fantastic place to stop over during your trip, highly recommend! :)
