Masseria Salinola

It’s very hard not to fall in love with this place. My wife and I have been fortunate to travel a fair bit - like many of you all will have - but this was one of the most special ‘hotels’ we have stayed in. I say ‘hotel’, because you actually feel like you’re staying at a family friend’s place. Daniele and his family make you feel extremely welcome and they’re super attentive and thoughtful. My wife is pregnant and they made sure she had everything she needed, often changing the food options for her. Speaking of the food, it’s what I imagine it’s like to have a Nonna cooking local, but elegant dishes for you. The property is simply beautiful and you feel very relaxed. The rooms are so cosy and they have so much detail in them. The pool area is gorgeous, we just didn’t have the weather for a dip. The fires were on, adding to the comfort and cosiness. They can organise taxis if you don’t have a car. They suggest local experiences, we did a local dairy farm experience.

We would love to return in May/June and will be recommending Masseria Salinola to our families and loved ones.

Masseria Salinola is one of those places that stay in your heart and memories forever, it was incredibly pleasant to be able to stay and to meet the family who owns and runs the property, beginning with the warm welcome of Daniele with the courtesy wine next to the fireplace in their cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant, the comfortable room with the fireplace and seating area, the most outstanding dining experience incredibly made by the chef Sergio who is able to delight the palate of any avid and food connoisseur using their local products and ancient recipes of their families, and the most friendly and warm hospitality that you can find away from home able to make you feel like home, Lucia!!!!!!, the mamma the Daniele the sweetest person!!!,beautiful, courteous, sincerely just like family!!. What to say !!!their place it’s magnificent, beautiful isn’t enough to describe it. If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy,feel like home and near to major attractions with all the commodities you have to stay in the Masseria Salinola, it’s the most authentic Italian experience that you could ever have.

Impressive clean and comfortable Masseria with lots of lovely touches like fire pits, unique furnishings and plants everywhere. It felt like an authentic comfortable Italian experience. We had a junior suite which gave the benefit of a beautiful private outdoor space but we still appreciated the swimming pool area.
The family and staff were very welcoming and incredibly helpful.
The highlight was the food! Using local ingredients many from their own garden, beautifully cooked. We don’t usually dine in at a hotel every night but this was too good to miss. I particularly appreciated the willingness to provide vegetarian options at my request. The wine recommendations each evening were delicious. Recommend taking pre dinner drinks on the roof terrace.

Alles was perfect! Het voelt echt als thuiskomen. De gastvrije ontvangst door de eigenaren en het personeel, de sfeervolle authentieke massseria die zo mooi ingericht is, het zwembad met voldoende ligbedden, de overal gezellige sfeervolle zitjes en niet te vergeten het overheerlijke eten. Zowel het ontbijt, lunch en diner zijn van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Alles staat in het teken van de gasten naar de zin te maken. Wat hebben we genoten!

I fell in love with the property. Dining was an exceptional experience and the food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. I also liked that the hotel was near the main town. This place brought peace to my stay. Loved the staff here they were all great.

This property is incredibly beautiful. Our room was gorgeous - the white of the “cave” type room made it feel luxurious. Most appreciated was the helpful staff, the lovely dining area and delicious food. We had an incredible dinner there and an amazing breakfast as well. Tea and coffee are always available and an afternoon cake and welcome drink. Abig fireplace makes it cozy on cold evenings.

Dit is echt een toplocatie, een prachtig boutique hotel. Zodra je door de poort bent zie je dat aan ieder detail veel aandacht is gegeven: 's avonds branden er vuren bij leuke zitjes, kleine decoraties zijn overal. De kamer was ingericht met mooie warme kleuren en heel luxe: we hadden zelfs een stoomcabine.
Het restaurant was het beste wat we in 10 dagen Puglia hebben gehad. Het ontbijt was ook onovertroffen, zo een rijke keuze...alleen al 8 soorten gebak.
Het is een familiehotel, de eigenaren en medewerkers zijn zeer professioneel en heel vriendelijk. Er zijn fietsen die je mag gebruiken, speelgoed voor kinderen, een mooi zwembad en je kunt de eigen groentetuin bezoeken. Ze maken eigen olijfolie, jam, etc etc.
Ostuni is ook nog eens een leuke oude stad om te bezoeken.

Dit hotel is natuurlijk niet heel goedkoop - maar is het geld zeker waard.

Exceptional host. We liked the welcoming drink and gift they gave us when we left. Attention to detail and bon fires like in our home country. Daniele gave us excellant tips for the rest of our tour. The set course meal served in their restaurant was the best we had on our tour. Thanks Daniele
