Pros:

Nette, ruime, kamer. Schone badkamer, heerlijke douche. Ontbijt is lokaal en prima. Je krijgt er wat rijst, curry, een soort plaatbrood en wat fruit.

Cons:

Locatie, rondom het verblijf niet echt heel erg mooi om te zien. Veel oude en vervallen gebouwen. Op het balkon maar 1 stoel.

Pros:

The apartment looked very new. Spacious rooms and a balcony.

Cons:

The bedding had stains and the cleanliness could have been better. There were quite a few insects inside the apartment.

Pros:

Mooie kamer, hotel achtige uitstraling. Prima ontbijt. De eigenaar was afwachtend maar als je hem iets vroeg was hij erg behulpzaam en wist hij binnen no time iemand te regelen voor wat je wilde. Het ligt net buiten het centrum met best veel tentjes in de buurt waar lokaal en Europeaanse dingen zoals pizza werden aangeboden.

Pros:

We can say nothing about the hotel facilities.

Cons:

The issue was they did not picked up as at the airport at 02:00 am as commited and nobody was waiting for us at the hotel. We had to find a taxi and another hotel at 03:00 am in the night. Hotel cancelled finnally the reservation.

Nice place, will visit again, just hope that room service will improve little bit.
Pros:

New place, AC worked very well comfortable large rooms,nice quiet surroundings, good location.

Cons:

We didn't like see through bathroom, no privacy. There is no reception, caretaker lives in near by house, often hard to find him. Have to everyday ask him to clean the room ( if you find him ) when room is cleaned and you come back there is no towels no tea cups no tea, coffee or sugar, then you have to go out and try to find caretaker ( often can't find him as he's gone somewhere) Caretaker man is very friendly and helpful person but somehow not really well organised to run a hotel. Also he only takes rupees, no credit cards or dollars, even though sri lankan coverment say that hotels should only take dollars.

Pros:

The breakfast as such was good and the staff helped out in getting us some extra water when we arrived late at night. The room was very modern and especially the shower room/toilet was very fresh.

Cons:

We really missed a pool on our first morning in Sri Lanka. We also found it slightly disappointed to have cats and dogs around us at breakfast.
