Quiet and beautiful place to relax - I felt super safe and comfortable, Ellen and her staff were always very friendly and helpful if I needed anything. Very nice bungalow rooms with intact mosquito nets on door and beds, fully functionning AC and fans, daily housekeeping and good and clean bathroom/shower. It was also very inspiring to learn more about the NGO and School directly connected to the guesthouse. Highly recommend staying at Blooming and I hope to come back here in the future <3

100% aan te raden. Het is een prachtig verblijf voor een goede prijs én je steunt ook nog eens de school van Ellen voor

het ziet er prachtig uit. De kamer heeft een mooie, nette uitstraling. Er is heerlijk ontbijt en het personeel is heel aardig. Ellen is ook een hele aardige vrouw die graag met je meedenkt en alles voor je regelt.

Enjoyable stay in a hotel that supports a school
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff we met were very welcoming and professional.
Breakfast was tasty, as were the other meals we had.
The bed was comfortable, with mosquito nets and air conditioning. There's plenty of storage space in the room.
The hotel is walking distance to the beach.
We appreciated that the hotel supports a school for children with disabilities which is on the same compound.

Cons:

The wifi is not very reliable, though this is not the hotel's fault.

We can’t honestly wait to go back!
Pros:

We traveled with a 4 year old and we loved the friendly and relaxed environment. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with genuine warmth and we immediately felt a connection. The environment was clean and safe, the food was delicious and the staff always helpful with any kind of requests.

On top of that it’s part of an NGO and we couldn’t be happier with that. Seeing the work they do for the community was truly inspiring.

Cons:

Nothing. It was really aligned with our expectations.

La propriétaire Ellen aux petits soins toujours agréable,disponible et souriante
la piscine assez spacieuse , la nourriture très bonnes,on se sent bien dans l'hôtel les enfants ont adoré.
Mention spécial pour l'école que la propriétaire à créé pour les enfants handicapés c'est un projet magnifique.

Geweldige gastvrijheid, blije gezichten van het personeel iedere dag, kortom een heerlijke plek!
Pros:

De sfeer van deze locatie is uitstekend. Heel dicht bij het strand, veilige omgeving waar je zelf kunt wandelen, genoeg restaurantjes om uit te kiezen, maar eigenlijk heb je alles bij Blooming. Van een heerlijk ontbijt iedere ochtend (vers fruit en een keuze menu voor jouw ontbijt) tot lunch tot diner. De kamer is ruim opgezet, heerlijke regendouche en ze hebben een mooi zwembad met 3 verschillende dieptes. Voor de kleintjes is er zelfs een speeltoestel. Maar wat het mooiste aan deze locatie is, is dat het gerund wordt met mensen met een beperking. Deze jeugd krijgt hier de mogelijkheid om een vak te leren en naast Blooming is er ook More Africa, een school en dagverblijf voor kinderen met een lichamelijke en/of geestelijke beperking. Zo steun je met jouw heerlijke verblijf ook dit goede doel!

Struttura pulitissima e ben organizzata a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Jambiani. Possibilità di cenare in loco. Buona colazione. Hellen, la titolare, è una persona fantastica! Durante il soggiorno abbiamo avuto modo di visitare la scuola per bambini con disabilità che gestisce ed ha fatto un bellissimo lavoro! Continua così!

Not just an accommodation: a heart-warming experience
Pros:

The experience offered by this accommodation goes well beyond anything we might have expected. The revenues of the guesthouse will fund a school for mantally and physically disable children that is right next to the guesthouse itself. This, in itself, is worth choosing the guesthouse. But, on top of that, the guaesthouse is just wonderful, peacuful, full of good vibes. Absolutely recommended!

Pros:

Ons verblijf in dit hotel in Zanzibar was werkelijk fantastisch. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. De host is een ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame vrouw, die met veel passie en toewijding zorgt voor haar gasten. Wat ons extra heeft geraakt, is dat ze zich ook inzet voor prachtige goede doelen: ze ondersteunt kinderen met een handicap en runt daarnaast een school naast het hotel.

Het hotel zelf is brandschoon, goed onderhouden en alles zag er tiptop in orde uit – geen enkel mankement te vinden. De sfeer is warm, gastvrij en je voelt je er direct thuis. Dankzij de combinatie van comfort, persoonlijke aandacht en het maatschappelijk betrokken karakter van de host, is dit een plek die je met een gerust hart aan iedereen kunt aanbevelen.

Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug! 🌺

Estupendo alojamiento y proyecto social
Pros:

Habitaciones bonitas, amplias, con AC, ventilador, y nevera. También mosquiteras. Muy limpio. Todas con terraza hacia el jardin y la piscina. Camas cómodas y buena presión de agua caliente-fria en el baño.
Recibimiento cálido por parte de su propietaria y equipo. Nos ofrecieron un refresco de bienvenida.
Lo mejor el proyecto que lleva adelante y la filosofía e sostenibilidad que transmite a la comunidad. También en pro de un turismo responsable. Gracias Ellen&Team!

Cons:

Quizá faltaba algún colgador en la habitación y una manilla para la mosquitera. Nada importante. La ubicación, en la carretera de Paje a Jambiani, a 5 minutos andando de Jambiani. A la playa hay 10 minutos por caminos sucios y traseras de hoteles. Es la realidad que hay que asumir.
En tuk tuk en menos de 10 minutos se llega a Paje.

Very much worth booking
Pros:

A very, very clean place at a beautifully designed place, be it rooms, restaurant/meeting area, pool and garden. Very attentive, charming, welcoming staff, helping out where ever needed.
A very big plus is the profit of the stay going to a school for kids with varying disabilities at the compound. What a great work is done there and so much worth to support it!
