Pros:

Der ganze Aufenthalt war wunderbar, die Hotelierfamilie ist sehr zuvorkommend man fühlt sich gleich willkommen. Das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen sehr fein, Saisonal und abwechslungsreich. Ausblick ist Traumhaft.
Wir kommen wieder.

Alles hat gestimmt und wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt
Pros:

Das Essen war sehr lecker (Frühstück und auch das Abendessen). Die Desserts waren excellent!
Grossräumiges, toll ausgestattetes Zimmer (wir haben ein Upgrade erhalten, Besten Dank). Spa-Bereich, grosszügiger Bereich, alles da was man braucht. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal.

Cons:

Die Vegi-Auswahl beim Abendessen war etwas eingeschränkt.

beautiful location, great breakfast
Pros:

The view from the room to the castle, the excellent breakfast, the location in Schenna, the attentive and kind owner of the hotel

Cons:

The elderly lady at the breakfast was NOT nice at all: when we asked at (our 1st) breakfast which our table was, she rmade a face and replied that "oh, that you had yesterday" :-( but our problem was that she said it in a rude way, we almost turned back to leave. She should not work at a hotel or restaurant. No client needs her bad manners, her negative energy and her making angry faces. She is the reason why I do not give 10 points....The other members of the staff are all very nice and their work is fantastic.

Schenna und Umgebung ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist recht zentral, in wenigen Minuten erreicht man Bushaltestelle, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Leider war unser Zimmer auf eine befahrene Strasse ausgerichtet und zum Teil ist der Lärm (spez. nachts) recht störend. Wellnessbereich ist schön. Was ich als störend empfand, war dass der Ruheraum nicht vom Wellnessbereich akustisch abgegrenzt war. Man hat jede Konversation, jedes Duschen, jedes Türöffnen gehört. Und dies empfinde ich als Nachteil. Weiters würde ich den Fitnessraum nicht mehr bewerben, bzw. entfernen. Denn: Ein Grund das Hotel Starkenberg zu buchen war der Fitness-Raum. Personen die sich nur wenig mit Fitness auskennen werden von der Grösse des Raumes, der Einrichtung / Qualität enttäuscht. Personen die sich mit Fitness nicht auskennen erhalten so den Eindruck wie langweilig und öd so ein Fitnesstraining sein muss. Also ich würde den Fitness-Raum def. entfernen. So oder so macht er niemanden eine Freude. Für ein 4-Stern Hotel müssen wir sagen, dass das Gastronomie-Angebot reichlich Luft nach oben hat.
