Perfect Stay
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect: the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What really stood out was the incredible attention to detail, which made the whole experience feel even more special and welcoming.
The self check-in process was simple and well organized, allowing us to arrive independently without any issues. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area.
We truly appreciated every aspect of our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming accommodation. We will definitely come back!

Fabulous boutique hotel
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful small hotel in excellent location for exploring Kyoto - walking distance to many shrines and museums, and right next to local train station, but very quiet. Very comfortable beds. Thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and with comfortable lounge area with small kitchen, coffee machine and excellent small library of books on Kyoto and Japan.

Nothing - we loved it.

Pros:

Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Conveniently close to the Tozan subway and not far from the Keihan line. Quiet area.

Cons:

Staff may be there when you check in but the front desk is generally not staffed if you need assistance. Staff kept giving me conflicting answers to my questions. They don't have luggage transport pickup if you were banking on that convenience. Beds are the standard very firm and not comfortable.

Pros:

Beautiful property. Rooms were exceptionally clean. We had such a lovely stay here and whenever I messaged the hotel they replied almost instantly and were so very helpful.

Cons:

There was no staff so no help with things that other hotels can easily help you with such as luggage transfer to different hotels. Don’t let this put you off staying here though, it was such a lovely place!

Very clean and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Great stay in a comfortable and very clean room, with facilities that looked very new. The property is just a minute’s walk away from the train station, and near several bus stations that brought us to the places of interest nearby.

Clean nicely designed rooms ; quiet location convenient for subway station and conference centre

Cons:

Amenities were below standard: no choice of tea; reasonable selection of coffee for Nespresso machine - but no stirrers provided for those who take sugar or milk! Also no housekeeping - over five nights it would have been good to have one change of towels and my bin emptied
