Pros:

The location is prime. Straight out onto the lagoon. The hotel offers kayaks free which were amazing. We went out for a sunrise kayak which was an unforgettable experience, and later in the day for a few hours. The setting is second to none. And the staff are incredible. We have memories for a lifetime and will forever cherish Bacalar and Bluebayou.

Belle vue mais bruyant
Pros:

Le ponton avec les transats et la lagune
- Le personnel sympa
- Le prix attractif

Cons:

Nous n'avons sûrement pas eu de chance car notre séjour a été très bruyant : entre la musique des bars alentours jusqu'à deux heures du matin (malgré des boules quies on entendait les boum boum), le souffleur de feuilles à n'importe quelle heure de la journée et les familles bruyantes (aucune isolation puisque ce sont des cabanes). Ce n'est pas le paradis calme qu'on nous avait vendu dans les commentaires. L'hôtel n'y est pour rien, on voulait juste le signaler.

Prachtige locatie!
Pros:

Prachtige locatie aan de lagune met voldoende ligbedjes op het ponton. Gratis gebruik van kano's. Geen ontbijt maar wel gratis koffie en fruit. Gratis parking voor de deur.

Cons:

Hutje werd in 2 gedeeld en wel wat lawaaioverlast van de buren. Bed was smal en badkamer klein.

Super tolles Hotel
Pros:

Alles! Super schönes Hotel. Genau wie auf der Seite beschrieben. Ruhige Lage direkt am See. Mit bequemen Sonnenliegen.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren super nett und konnten einem bei Fragen weiterhelfen. Zb ein Taxi für uns bestellen.

Het ponton dat uitgeeft op de laguna is een grote plus
Pros:

De ligging vlakbij de laguna is fantastisch, er is parkeerplaats voor de deur. De kamers zijn ruim. Er zijn niet veel kamers, wat het gezellig maakt.

Cons:

Jammer dat er geen echt ontbijt is, gelukkig is er een kleine koffiebar iets verder in de straat.

A Hidden Gem in Bacalar
Pros:

Our stay at Bluebayou Bacalar was truly wonderful. The hotel is located directly on the lagoon, and the setting is absolutely stunning—peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by natural beauty.

The cabins are beautifully designed, very comfortable, and extremely clean. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention go into maintaining both the rooms and the entire property. Being right on the lagoon makes the experience special: you can relax in a hammock, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the view just a few steps from the water.

The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We genuinely felt well taken care of throughout our time there.

We had a great experience and truly hope to return one day. Hopefully, in the future, there might also be a restaurant on site, which would make the stay even better.

We really hope many people choose this hotel—Bluebayou Bacalar is absolutely worth it and highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay in Bacalar.

Pros:

Personel był bardzo responsywny, a domki pośród zadbanej natury robiły niesamowite wrażenie. Choć małe, były bardzo przytulne i w pełni wyposażone. Ogromnym plusem jest prywatny pomost z leżakami nad laguną i dostęp do kajaków. Dodatkowo przez cały dzień można korzystać z wody, kawy i świeżych owoców.

Cons:

Mimo położenia wśród natury, przez cały dzień słychać muzykę z pobliskich klubów, co nieco psuje poczucie spokoju. To bardziej kwestia specyfiki okolicy niż samego obiektu, ale jeśli szukasz ciszy, warto mieć to na uwadze.

Magnifique établissement sur la lagune.
Pros:

Bel établissement donnant sur la lagune de Bacalar. Ponton avec transats, hamacs plongeant dans l' eau. Kayaks et paddle à disposition pour admirer la lagune. La jeune fille à la réception est très aimable et nous a donné des adresses pour les repas. Vraiment très bien.

Beautiful access to the lagoon.

Cons:

We had an issue with the cleaning staff on the second day. We noticed an envelope for a tip in the bedroom but we forgot about it and did not put anything in it. Also, we are more used to travel in Europe, Africa and Asia where it is not common to find envelopes to leave tips for cleaning as it is usually included in the room fare. Anyway, on the second day, we left a relatively clean room, we put our stuff away, made a pile with the dirty towels away, and even half made the bed. When coming back from our day outside, we found the room in a worst state than the one we left it. The dirty towels were moved on top of our clothes piles, "clean" towels left in the wet sink, the bathroom trash can was spilled on the floor and the shower was not cleaned. Only the tip envelope was moved onto the bed. For the price of the bedroom per night, this attitude is just not ok.
Also, very strong sewer smell in the entire room (specially when the bathroom is not cleaned).

Für den Preis zu teuer.
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut an der Lagune. Bungalow waren groß und neuer.

Cons:

Bungalow sind etwas dunkel, hier fehlt mehr gute Beleuchtung. Nebengebäude sehr laute Musik. Hotel ist ein absolutes nicht Raucher Hotel, was ok ist. Nur sollte der Hinweis bei booking erscheinen. Gläser oder Plastikbecher im Zimmer wären gut. Für den Preis 102 Euro / Nacht viel zu teuer.
