A very nice and peaceful location, close to Sigiriya. The surroundings were calm and quiet, and the property was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It was a relaxing place to stay.
Staff response time could be improved, especially during busy periods. A number of menu items were unavailable, and the food quality was inconsistent across dishes.
Best and friendly customer service. Food was very tasty. They arranged amazing party for us as well since we requested. One of best stay.

Par contre le dîner accompagné d'insectes et autres moustiques et bestioles, a été un des pires moments.
Mésaventure concernant le règlement. Nous avons réglé la totalité à notre départ et on s'est fait débité le règlement une nouvelle fois sur la carte qui a servi de réservation. C'est vraiment très limite et surtout incompréhensible. Nous avons appelé l'hôtel hier qui nous a confirmé un remboursement que nous surveillons, et bien entendu, nous n'hésiterons pas à vous rappeler cet incident

Siamo stati accolti con un drink di benvenuto e delle salviette profumate, oltre che dai sorrisi dello staff. La struttura è molto carina, ci siamo goduti anche la piscina. La camera bella e con una vera doccia!
La struttura non è proprio semplice da raggiungere e l'hotel non ci ha molto aiutati nè a raggiungerli (non ci hanno mai risposto ai messaggi che gli avevamo scritto prima della partenza), nè a muoverci da lì. Non ci sono Uber lì e pochissimi Pick Me, quindi mi aspetterei che un hotel di questo livello metta a disposizione un servizio di tuk tuk di fiducia per agevolare i clienti
Very welcoming and pleasant environment
It was super clean, lovely showers, very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and bonus of a fabulous view. The staff were very friendly we accidentally had booked wrong date for Roys Villa next door and then put us straight in, lovely pool too with beds and special swimming towels

The location of the Hotel and the staff
The roadway to the Hotel. There are two ways to reach the Hotel, one is from the main road (we missed that road unfortunately due to not visible Sign Boards), and the other through a paddy field. It would be better if the recommended route can be changed to the one that is coming from the main road and not through the Paddy Field

1. The access road is a rough, bumpy, mud track. Shakes you up getting to the place.
2. The Hotel is about a half hour away from the Minneriya Safari Entrance Gate.
3. The Hotel does not have a Spa.
4. I had problems paying USD with credit cards. The hotel machine rejected both my cards. Payment in LKR was accepted. However, my Colombo Hotel's card machine accepted $ payments via both cards so there is a problem with the Sigiriyaya hotel's card reader. This could cause avoidable embarrassment to a guest.
Very spacious room. Clean. Nice pool. There were some power interruptions, but otherwise nothing bad to say, would stay there again.
Quiet and relaxing.
There was no way to lock the door to the balcony. Noisy air conditioning.
It’s a relatively new hotel so the decor and facilities were 4/5 star. The pool was the best part. View from the balcony across the rice fields is serene. Gihan on the front desk was the stand out staff member for me, very attentive and requests got actioned.
Service could have been far better, especially since Jetwing bought this hotel months ago. Our room was not cleaned the first day but they cleaned our mum’s room. The next day I asked for ours to be cleaned, they cleaned the room but did not replace the used bath towels or refill the filter water or empty the bathroom bin. The next day the bathroom bin still hadn’t been emptied. The manager (Manoj) was very professional and attentive, he got stuck in with his staff cleaning tables etc.
Should have been great if they prepare the food as locals taste.
As we Sri Lankans we like spicy foods. I hope the staff of the hotels also knows. Would have been great if food prepared as per the locals taste.
