Pros:

The staff was absolutely amazing. Felt like coming home to family.

Cons:

First, I said there’s no TV to watch movies and then I passed and I told my husband well it’s bonding time no phones no TV just you and I!

I love the outdoor space! It feels like your in the desert or out in big bend! great job

Really enjoyed my stay — great value and lovely grounds. I’d stay there again
Pros:

Absolutely loved the common areas and yard. Beautifully landscaped. The room was nicely appointed. Shower had good stream.

Cons:

The 1st 3 days the room had an odd musty/chlorine smell. By the 3rd day smell was gone and much more pleasant. Had some confusion with the staff about cleaning the room but the confusion may have been my fault too.

Absolutely avoid room 208 otherwise a good place to stay
Pros:

Location, large room and bathroom, comfortable bed.

Cons:

Location of room 208! Next to ice machine and lounge makes it very noisy and thus not a pleasant and restful night!!

Pros:

We had a group of 3 with 3 rooms reserved. One member had to drop out at the last moment due to a close friends passing. I inquired about cancelling on our day of arrival and was told that policy was no refund. After contacting the owner and describing the unique circumstances, we received a 100% refund. Appreciate considering the circumstances and accommodating us at the last minute.

Loved the room. I would recommend it as it is pet friendly (w/a fee).
Pros:

The property is beautiful and the room was spacious and really nice. The bed & pillows were comfy. It was easy to check in and out. The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

There’s no TV nor microwave. We rolled up the sisal rug to assure our pet didn’t dirty it only to see a lot of dirt underneath.

It’s a central location to divide your stay if you’re wanting to go to McDonald Observatory and Big Bend.
Pros:

It was very clean and quaint.

Cons:

The property was great. It’s just a shame there’s not more businesses like shops and restaurants in Marfa.

Pros:

My favorite part of the hotel was the outdoor pool area. It is very close to restaurants and other establishments.

Cons:

The person working the front desk had an attitude when speaking to us when we had a question about our payment. That was an off putting end to our stay. Too expensive for what it is but it is better than a motel.
