Great stay!
Pros:

The property itself is beautiful!

Cons:

Pros:

Good location, easy check in and check out. Nice garden area and pool. I liked the fire pits and seating area in garden.

Cons:

We had no TV in room, actually worked out well. Didn't need a TV after all.

Good stopping point on the way to Big Bend National Park.
Pros:

The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Pool not ready for use and room was not ready when we arrived. Thankfully, staff (not onsite) responded quickly and we received keys for a different room.

Texas version of Cars Movie
Pros:

The rooms were large and well appointed. It was a little odd not to have a television in the room BUT ended up being a good thing. We visited the “lounge” and watched a little TV at night after our daytime adventures. It was great to unwind then head to our room without the TV in background. The location is amazing. Everything within walking distance. It looks much farther on map than what it actually is. Next door they have a coffee roaster that is a 10/10, if they offer you a sample of their cold brew….TAKE IT!!!! The pool was super cold even in May but that didn’t stop us from dipping our feet in. Overall a very fun and relaxing 3 days.

Cons:

I wasn’t prepared for the town being so laid back. Everything closed by 10. Storefronts can close early or open late, think Radiator Springs from Disney movie Cars, that will perfectly describe Marfa.
