Muy buenas instalaciones, como se ve en las fotos. También tiene un gimnasio con algunas máquinas y cinta de correr.
La comida del restaurante no es especialmente buena para el precio que tiene. Los servicios que ofrece el hotel (transporte al puerto, moto, etc), son excesivamente caros para los precios de Filipinas, pero se aprovechan de que no hay competencia (en Siquijor no hay Grab ni otros medios de transporte accesibles). El desplazamiento del hotel al puerto fueron 25 euros, una barbaridad en Filipinas, cuando por ese mismo trayecto en tiempo y distancia en Panglao a través de Grab te cobran 5 euros. Además, nos cobraron lo mismo en el viaje de ida (íbamos solos), que en la vuelta (íbamos con cuatro personas más ajenas a nuestro grupo).
La ubicación está bien si no quieres salir del hotel, porque tiene vistas al mar, pero te requiere coger moto sí o sí para desplazarte. No recomendamos alquilar la moto en el hotel, ya que al finalizar el alquiler nos cobraron un sobrecoste porque se metió una gravilla de la carretera en las líneas del neumático (algo absolutamente fortuito que no depende de nosotros).
We absolutely loved our stay at Salamangka Resort! Everything was beautiful, from the resort itself to the lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent and everyone was so kind and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the pool area and the drinks and service there. Overall, such a relaxing and beautiful place to stay — we would definitely come back! ❤️
The only things we felt could be improved were the restaurant and the Wi-Fi. The restaurant was a little expensive for the quality, so we felt the price-to-quality ratio could be better. The Wi-Fi was also quite unreliable, which was especially inconvenient on an island where mobile coverage is very limited and you have to rely heavily on the resort’s connection.

The room was very spacious and well equipped.
The food in the resort restaurant was also surprising.
The internet connection was slow and sometimes not available. A premium resort can allow a Starlink connection if this is an infrastructure problem on the island.
If you come here to disconnect and relax it won't be a problem but if you need few hours a day of stable connection, take it into account because cellular reception is also very weak.

We had a pleasant stay here in Salamangka, from the welcome drinks & free water bottles to the hospitality of the staff and the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The room was exactly the same in person as it was online. It was perfect for four people and had so much space. The shower was huge and the jacuzzi was a nice addition. Signal was intermittent but the wifi was strong all across the resort, strong enough to sustain online meetings seamlessly. We enjoyed the pool and pool bar. We were allowed to check in early which we appreciated. The receptionist was very responsive on Whatsapp and helped us organise tuktuks and a car rental to get around.
All in all, this place offers great value for money and we would recommend this place.
One thing to note is that it is just a bit far from the center of town, but not really a big deal.

The resort is quiet and peaceful
It is very far from the center, like 30 mins away. there’s no restaurant and shops around, so hard when you get hungry at night. also a little bit hard going in the hotel, you need to go through houses and very dark at night and lots of trees and vacant lots before you reach the hotel.

Het personeel is wel vriendelijk maar niet professioneel, daar zou meer in geïnvesteerd kunnen worden om deze mensen goed op te leiden

Las habitaciones muy buenas y limpias. Muy accesible. El aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien y era muy accesible a todos los puntos principales de la isla.
Se podía tender fuera de la habitación y la piscina era excelente.
El gimnasio estaba muy bien también.
Muy recomendable.
Pedimos una tortilla (omelette) por la noche pero nos dijeron que no era posible, a cambio si era posible unos huevos revueltos (scrumbled eggs) cosa que no entendimos muy bien. El menú de la cena un poco escaso.
Dommage pour le prix de la chambre qu’il n’y ai pas un petit déjeuné compris !
