Former glory and now a bit dirty
Pros:

Big pool, nice view over the mangrove. Ibou was very nice to us and drove us around ourselves.
Beds were clean and comfortable. Airconditioning worked well.
Overall we had een nice stay, but this does not merrit the current score of 8.8.

Cons:

You could see that this place used to be managed by europeans, but was kind of worn down now. Ventilators in the restaurant area disappeared, lots of lamps that have been replaced by bulbs only, the doors and windows dont fit anymore, windows had no glass, but only a musquito net that was completely torn, art was changed by something super old & broken, …. Also the musquito net around the bed had holes of more than 10cm at different places.
The bed was very clean, but all the rest (decorations, chairs, tables, etc) were very dusty and dirty.

SOÑAR EN EL PARAÍSO.
Pros:

Este lodge es un lugar mágico para disfrutar de su entorno y del relax que en el se crea.
Tuve la suerte de coincidir con su dueña y su pareja, los cuales me ayudaron mucho al igual que el personal.
Me quedé más días ya que estaba muy cómoda y relajada en el hotel.
LUGAR ESPECIAL!

Cons:

Tienen que seguir acondicionando el lugar, poner papeleras en zonas comunes, pintar las zonas arregladas, pero es un lugar cómodo y las habitaciones son amplias, con todos los detalles.

la simplicité et beauté du cadre - acceuil au top

Le calme et la sérénité du lieu.
La nature, les oiseaux . Chambres très propre et cocoon
Les plats délicieux je vous conseille de manger sur place Le personnel est très disponible attentionné merci IBOU et FATOU .
Sur le ponton des rencontres extra avec des singes des crabes des poissons volants . les excursions sont vraiment top j'ai vu le Sénégal autrement loin de Dakar la plénitude . Rien à envier au autre hôtel au alentours
Si on n'aime la nature que l'on cherche le dépaysement garanti
Petit déjeuner complet et copieux. Pour le retour Ibou nous a trouvez un chauffeur pour Dakar top . je recommande et nous reviendrons .

le cadre - la nourriture - l'accueil - la piscine
le ponton était magnifique , des oiseaux , des papillons, chambre très charmante et super pour trois
la visite des trois iles aux alentours et le coucher du soleil extra

Beautiful lodge in picturesque location with lovely staff
Pros:

Beautiful Lodge much nicer than it's photos. Lovely pool and view over the jetty. Super comfy beds and well decorated rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Dinner was good.

Cons:

Shower was only lukewarm not hot.

Fantastic location and clean
Pros:

Fantastic location with a perfect view of the Saloum delta, clean comfortable room with plenty of hot water, friendly staff. Lots of comfortable seating so you could just hang-out, relax and read etc.

Cons:

Breakfast was slightly boring. More fresh fruit would have been great considering the abundance of tropical fruits available in Senegal, so then are apples slightly boring.

Pros:

I loved the comfortable huge mattress. The amazing shower. The layout for the rooms. The decent sized swimming pool. The food made by the chef. Standard lunch and three courses dinner. The view and access to the bolong.The staff were amazing. Ibrahima, Papa, Max and Fatou really made us feel at home. The kids loved it. My mom does not eat meat and salted food for health reasons and the chef accommodated that very well. Ibrahima facilitated the excursions. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The sitting-dining area/lounge gives a great view, plz ty if space to look at the view and play games with the kids. I really loved the place.

Cons:

The AC in my room was okay but not super cold. The mosquitoes were a real hassle but then it was July, not the residences fault. On our walk to the bolong you can guess there's a sewer outlet, therefore we only bathed at high tide. Other hotels probably also have this but it is a shame. The only real caveat I have was the price for the food. I admit I did not ask, we didn't really have any alternatives, there aren't many restaurants in the Toubacouta area but the final invoice was pretty hefty. Almost as expensive as the lodging and I was really surprised. Only downside to an otherwise wonderful stay.

Pros:

Ibo and Fatou took very good care of me. The pool has an amazing view, the platform down at the mangrove also. Room was nicely decorated.

Time to clean the pool :)

Pros:

We stayed at Toubacouta Lodge 4 nights insted of 3 because we loved the site, the swimming pool and its breathingless view, the food and the excursions we did on the delta river and the Fathala Reserve safari.Thank you to Ibou and his team. Their kindness and availability to respond to any request from us were impressive.No words to explain how nice they where and how quite and relaxing the Toubacouta is!

Very good
Pros:

Great facilités and nice staff The village has a nice atmosphere- great food for dinner and a cool barber :)

Cons:

Transport that the hotel organised for me on departure. The quote was a bit more expensive than in the village but I went with them. The guide they organised for me ended up demanding twice the price for half the distance.
Even though it spoiled things a bit I really enjoyed my stay.
