Our stay was unfortunately disappointing.

The room was extremely damp. Neither the dehumidifier nor the air conditioner in “Dry” mode was able to control the humidity, making the room uncomfortable throughout our stay.

Part of the ceiling covering was peeling away, exposing visible moisture damage underneath.

The coin laundry was out of service, and the hotel directed us to a public laundromat more than ten blocks away instead of offering an alternative.

The most disappointing incident occurred on the morning of August 6. We had informed the hotel in advance that we would be using the late check-out option until 12:00 p.m. and paying the additional fee of ¥2,000. This had been confirmed and noted by the hotel in writing. Nevertheless, at around 11:15 a.m., a front desk employee rang our doorbell—without first calling the room—to insist that check-out was at 11:00 a.m. We had to explain the situation ourselves. The staff member was discourteous, and neither he nor anyone else apologized for the mistake, either at that moment or when we checked out.

Overall, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel to travelers looking for the level of hospitality and customer service that Japan is usually known for.

This was by far the worst and most disgusting hotel room we’ve ever stayed in.

There was mold on the walls, a hole in the wall that looked like it had been caused by a punch, and the bed sheets were dirty. After we complained, we were immediately given another room, which we appreciated, but unfortunately it wasn’t much better.

The entire hotel had a strange, dark, and sketchy atmosphere. We genuinely don’t understand how it has received so many positive reviews. We might have understood these conditions if the room had cost around €40 and the hotel had a 4.0 rating, but at this price and rating, it was completely unacceptable.
