Pros:

My expectations were not fulfilled. I thought it was a proper hotel, but it was a father, and a young daughter that ran the place. I never met a third person.
The room is big, and tidy, but there is no running hot water, even when the tap is left running for 1/4 hour. In fact, l had to use 2 mugs to boil water in the Microwave to wash.

Cons:

I thought it was a proper hotel, but it wasn't. I feel it's something between a 2" hotel, and an-cared for, AB&B.
Breakfast was prepared for me, fine, but what l paid for my 3 nights there, is close to what I paid for 2 people at COFRESI PALM RESORT in Puerto Plata last July.
I wouldn't stay again, if, and when, I visit again
The father and daughter were however friendly.

Pros:

Good location near the bus terminal. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room. Hot water for shower. Quiet (not a given in the DR).

Cons:

Required cash payment. No way to change AC temperature or turn it off (missing remote) and no blankets in the room (the staff probably could have helped with this but we didn't ask because we were tired).

Would absolutely stay again. Excellent hospitality.
Pros:

Above and beyond hospitality from the staff. They legitimately made our entire trip better. Very communicative and very very kind. Breakfast was such a nice addition to our stay. Would absolutely stay again.

Cons:

No problems. Great for the price, more than we paid for. Thank you to the staff. :)
