My experience was very delightful. Enjoyed the tea after our arrival and the breakfast the next morning. Mostly our host made us feel welcome. I hope I can come back.

Most hospitable.
Pros:

Had to leave before breakfast so I can’t comment on the breakfast but if it’s anything like the scones we we’re served upon our arrival I would say it must be good.

Cons:

Nothing, sorry.

Top quality accommodation and a wonderful host.
Pros:

The property is a modern, well appointed house and a true B&B. Host Celia is what makes the accommodation outstanding. Celia provided tea and scones on arrival in the afternoon. We had a comfortable night in a well appointed, en-suited bedroom. Breakfast was of a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble. Celia then sat with us and provided recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our stay in Ireland along with tips and tricks. We highly recommend Ballyhourode to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in County Cork.

Excellent
Pros:

Neatly cleaned facility with kind host, who gave us lots of recommendations on where to drop by next. Irish breakfast is such an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend whoever visits around here should stay here at Ballyhourode.

Cons:

Water pressure of the shower was a bit lower than expected. But this might be just because I didn’t know how to adjust.

Fabulous Country Home
Pros:

Beautiful country Home, we felt so Welcomed - as if family. A 'bit' out in the country, but equally as peaceful. Breakfast was the best we've had, and we've had many excellent ones. A special highlight of our trip. Our Host really understands the difference between a 'place to stay' and a true B&B experience. Only one night regrettably, and some wonderful conversation. Meeting 'Mum' a highlight.

The place is good in my view and I had a good experience staying there.
Pros:

I was surprised when welcomed with cake and tea when I arrived there. And the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The owners are very caring people. I think it runs in the family as I met both the owner and her Mum. And there is bath tub in my bathroom. Had a nice hot bath. Amazing people and place altogether

Cons:

Well, I like everything I experienced there. So, nothing negative.

Amazing stay here ❤️
Pros:

We loved the picturesque location, the house itself and most of all the amazing hosts. Celia was most welcoming and greeted us with tea and homemade scones. The room was spotless with tea/coffee making facilities, shampoo etc and fluffy towels. She gave great advice on where to visit that was realistic for our timescale/interests. Breakfast was so tasty and served in the beautiful dining room. In the evening there was a choice of 3 lounges with tvs and Netflix. Overall an excellent accommodation with amazon hosts in a picturesque location ... 10/10 from us. It is a quiet location so you need a car to get around.

Cons:

Nothing

Wow! What a gem of a family-run, authentically Irish B&B! Stay here if you get the chance!
Pros:

Staying at this family run B&B might just be the highlight of our 3 week tour of Ireland! What a treat to visit with Celia, who welcomed us personally to her beautifully decorated, stately home with tea and apple pie. We so enjoyed talking with her and hearing all about the area. She gave us tips for traveling and told us amazing stories. Then the B&B were also outstanding; comfortable bed with nice linens; clean, huge bathroom and a delicious, full Irish breakfast prepared by Celia herself and served in the formal dining room. We give this sweet home-stay our highest recommendations and plan to come back next time we come to Ireland.

Cons:

We liked everything:)
