Pros:

The glamping setup is cosy and well presented. The in-room heater was a great addition for the cold weather, and the electric blanket together with the comfortable bed made for a warm and restful stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately, several advertised amenities were unavailable during our visit. The hot tub was not operational, there was no fridge as shown in the photos, and no cutlery or crockery was provided. We also experienced a lack of hot water for the shower, which was disappointing.
Overall, the accommodation has potential and offers a comfortable sleeping experience, but the facilities and amenities need to align more closely with what is advertised.

Pros:

Journey Guesthouse is a great guesthouse. The owner and staff were very attentive and helpful. It was nice that it was walking distance from shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and I loved the electric blanket in winter. Would definitely book again with them!

Lovely, peaceful, welcome and pleasant
Pros:

We had a vehicle breakdown and had to book into Journey Guest house. Niel, the owner, was very prompt in communication. He sent all relevant information through right after making booking along with additional information on WiFi, places to eat ext. He stood and waiting while vehicle got offloaded and made sure us ladies were safe inside and the lady even left us a homemade treat. Niel went out of his own the following morning to speak to mechanic and arranged an appointment for us. The stay there truly made the whole journey so pleasant and very at ease for us (as a vehicle breakdown is seldomly a good experience) we were able to make the most of is as there was a cute cafe right across the road and I could see the guesthouse and workshop from where I was sitting. Truly a lovely location hearing the nearby farm life and watching the sun rise from the forest right at our stoep !

Cons:

That our vehicle was fixed the next day and we couldn’t stay longer !

The people are very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were bigger than expected and the facilities was great.
