Excellent stay in a great part of Liverpool
Pros:

The location is excellent and they also have a small car park which is so handy if you’re able to bag a space. The staff are top notch. So helpful and friendly

Cons:

The automated check in is a right pain in the backside. Not straight forward at all. Thank goodness for the staff on hand to help out. But if there’d been a queue it could have turned into utter chaos.

The Hotel was on a refurbishment journey which they hadn't completed yet.
Pros:

The Staff were very friendly and tried their best to accommodate our requests. The hotel décor was being updated / refurbished and where it was completed it looked very good.

Cons:

There was no English breakfast available.
Although the staff were very friendly and attenuative you could see that they needed better training.
The bathroom sink was very ornate but you couldn't stop the water from draining away.
The paint had not dried on the banister.

Pros:

The location of the hotel.

Cons:

I arrived a little after 3 pm to check in. The touch screen check-in didn't work; I wasn't able to book into my room until 6:40 pm due to having no curtains in my room.
When I was eventually let into the room, the kettle was broken, there was no mini fridge and no soap in the ensuite.

Overnight stay after visit to Liverpool Philharmonic.Lovely hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful bedroom,furnishings and shower room.
Mini fridge with water and tea and coffee facilities were ample.

Cons:

Car park noisy(not sure if it belonged to hotel) as we were on Lower Ground floor.
Self check in system quite slow given that there were staff around.
