Pros:

We stayed here on the 17th and 18th, and it was such a wonderful experience. The location in Belihuloya - Citrine is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Bandara for his kindness and great service and also to the lovely girl on the team (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name) who was incredibly helpful and welcoming.

Our stay felt comfortable and memorable and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and enjoyable stay. We would definitely love to come back again!

Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful, especially Bandara, who was attentive and supportive throughout our visit. The rooms are large and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax. The local breakfast was good and enjoyable.

The location is convenient, with easy access to Belihuloya and Pahanthudawa Waterfall. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing cold bath in the Belihuloya River, as there are safe bathing points available nearby.

Overall, it was a comfortable and worthwhile experience.

Cons:

It appears that the hotel is currently undergoing some maintenance work. As a suggestion for improvement, the management could place more emphasis on ongoing and consistent maintenance to further enhance the overall guest experience.

Too expensive.
Pros:

Staff members were very helpful

Cons:

Bathroom , toilet in one room toilet couldn't close. They offered us a second room. There toilet seat was too small for the actual size of the toilet. That made sitting totally uncomfortable and it was badly fixed
No toilet paper, shower gel or soap available. We were given some soap and a roll of toilet paper upon my request.

Pros:

The accommodation was really nice. The location and staff were excellent. They went the extra mile to cater to our requests. The room was clean and had a unique character that was bound with the surroundings. We managed to see the nearby waterfall and had a dip in the BeliulOya river. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

Mr. Bandara provided outstanding customer service and took exceptional care of guests. It was the best customer service I’ve experienced in my recent travels. This location is perfect for anyone planning to visit Pahanduwa Waterfall, with many stunning views to enjoy. The Sri Lankan food served here is fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Like many hotels in Sri Lanka, the 800-meter access road to the hotel is narrow and a bit challenging to navigate, especially if you are travelling by car with low ground clearance. It would be much better if it were smoother and free of potholes.

Citrine stay was a real value for money.
Pros:

We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Citrine. The hotel is situated at a picturesque site on the foothills of Pahanthuda water fall in Belihul Oya. Among other things, the Citrine staff was super hospitable, and Bandara was a super host, who attended virtually to all our requests with no hesitation at all. The Sri Lankan food we ordered was not only tasty, but also were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Citrine for its hospitality.
