Mekong River stay was wonderful!
Pros:

Excellent location for anyone wanting to be on the Mekong River, not just people staying overnight for the slow boat. Restaurants just a few minutes walk away. And a wonderful walk on the promenade. I didn’t know there wasn’t a lift; however hotel staff were ready to carry our luggage up to the room. We had a view of the river from our balcony. The bathroom was the first wet room type we’ve ever used. It was great. Hot water and water pressure were great. Recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Cons:

This isn’t about the property. But a tour group devoured breakfast buffet and commandeered the view tables despite not all their participants being present. We normally get to breakfast early due to arranged events. We learned our lesson for the overnight stay on the slow boat.

Pros:

Great location in the centre of the ‘main street’. Hotel has free bikes, which we used to cycle along the riverside. Breakfast had good choices. Not the newest hotel but comfortable and clean. Good value for £.

Cons:

Not keen on wet room shower.

Very good
Pros:

We had 4th floor rooms, with uninterrupted views of the Mekong from our balcony.
The a la carte breakfast was great, again overlooking the river. The beds were comfortable ,and I would stay again.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

No hooks to hang anything. In the rooms.
