It’s quiet and beautiful

Wir wollten von Zimmer 4 ( dort hört man die Lüftung vom baracuda Imbiss) in Zimmer 1 ( an der Terrasse). Hat anstandslos funktioniert. Sind schon zum 2. Mal hier.

Once again I can’t fault Newtown apartments. Rooms are always clean, with fresh bedding provided. Had a very peaceful time staying there. Facilities are great.

Clean and comfortable

Clean, well-equipped and close to the bus station and supermarket. Great value for money. Hosts were also very helpful and quick to respond, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

A lovely accommodation, well equipped kitchen. The room was very large, bright and spacious with a huge window facing the main road. The window only has blind so once you open tye blind you have no privacy at all. So most of the time I had to put the blind down when I'm in and live in a dark room which was not nice. A netting curtain would have solve the problem. The bed was comfortable but very hard mattress. The mattress feels like brick underneath you. Maybe it's just me not used to hard mattresses. Also there is a strong smell of sweat from the mattress and pillows so strong that it made the whole room smell. I had to keep leaving the window open to get fresh air. A table in the room would have helped, there is nowhere to put things, so had to use the window seal as table. I am not very keen on staying in places where you have to share bathroom but here there was no problem at all. All other guests respect everyone's space and bathroom was always available whenever I needed it. The shower head needs changing, the water pressure from that shower head is just so weak. Free secure parking at the back with cameras all around. I didn't meet the landlord until the day I was leaving but communication has been swift. Check in very easy, just collect the keys from the downstairs kebab shop. All instructions was sent to me prior my arrival on booking.com. By the way, that kebab shop sells the most delicious kebab I have ever tried. So give it a try when staying there. They even helped me take my heavy suitcase upstairs.
Overall, it's a really nice place to stay, a newly refurbished building with everything provided to make your stay comfortable. And yes, I will stay again if I'm in the area.
