Perfect Stay in Unawatuna!
Pros:

The location is fantastic
everything is so convenient. The beach is just a short walk away, and you can easily explore the surrounding area without needing transport. Restaurants, cafes, and shops are all nearby.
The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and well maintained, with enough space to relax properly. The balconies add a lovely touch, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. They also provide parking, which is very convenient.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Unawatuna

Cons:

When we arrived we were positively surprised by the size of the room and its initial appearance however we then noticed the room was not super clean and there was an ant issue on the balcony and the window was broken so the bathroom became very wet due to rain. We thought the location would be fine given we like walking but it is a very steep hill and then a busy main road to get to the beach/town and even the owner couldn’t get us a tuk tuk/ taxi with our bags when we needed to check out. We don’t like leaving bad reviews but we just want to be honest.

Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous place with the most amazing view at the ocean. The room was very big, clean and the bed so comfortable. The staff is really friendly and always awailable for any kind of help. Thank you so much for everything, I hope I can come back another time!

A clean hotel where you immediately feel at home
Pros:

Wonderful hotel with amazing hosts who always had a smile on their faces. Everything was very clean and super cozy, we truly felt at home. I could truly feel the love for detail in the interior design. There were plenty of shelves and storage spaces, cute paintings on the walls, and the colors matched beautifully. It was really decorated with so much care and love! A special highlight was the spacious room and the constant hot water with great water pressure - even on the 4th floor! The location is nice: close to the center yet in a quiet area (little uphill). The hosts also kindly helped us arrange a scooter rental. We would definitely come back!

Cons:

Honestly, nothing really. There were just a few ants in the room, which didn’t bother us at all and is completely understandable given the location in nature.

Sauber, freundlich, modern.
Pros:

Das Badezimmer war sehr sehr modern und groß.
Die Besitzer und der Hotelonkel waren überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Es war mir unmöglich ein Tuk Tuk für den abendlichen Spaziergang über Pickme oder Uber zu buchen - liegt aber leider generell an der Tuk-Tuk-Mafia-Situation welche ich in ganz Unawatuna am krassesten wahrgenommen habe.

Der Besitzer war aber durchaus hilfsbereit und hat mir zu den gleichen Preisen wie auf der App zeitgleich eine Fahrer organisiert! Kann dem also kein Punktabzug geben.

Pros:

Everything. Location is perfect so close to all main beaches. Staff also. The owner ordered food for us. Booked a tuk tuk . The room is so clean with air condition , tv, clothing iron . I felt so safe like I was at my home.

Pros:

The bed is comfortable, the shower is great, and the owner is lovely. Even after we checked out, he let us use the bathroom so we could shower before heading to the airport.
He also ordered us a taxi that was cheaper than the Pick Me app.
I highly recommend this accommodation!

Pros:

Der var rent og flot. Sengen var dejlig. De ansatte var utrolig søde og hjalp med at booke transfer til lufthavnen.

Cons:

Det ligger godt oppe på en bakke, så det skal man være forberedt på, hvis man går op med sin bagage nede fra hovedvejen. Men det var ikke noget problem! Det er bare rart at vide på forhånd.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Only had a quick 1 night visit but would’ve been happy to stay here a lot longer. So clean and the staff were really helpful, one of the best stays I’ve had in Sri Lanka and I’ve been traveling round for 4 weeks. And the bed 10/10 as well very very comfy.

Habitación muy grande y limpia, el personal encantador, el manager nos ha contado que estan trabajando en un restaurante y piscina, lo cual va a ser un gran punto a favor ya que la ubicacion queda un poco lejos del centro. Todo lo demas genial gracias.

Cons:

Ubicación un poco complicada, pero si te gusta andar en 10 minutos estás al centro. Lo único que es una cuesta bastante empinada.
