Wir haben mehr erwartet
Pros:

Regionale Produkte, selbstgemachtes Brot und allgemein ein "gesundes" Frühstück fanden wir gut; der Parkplatz ist groß, sodass jeder einen Platz findet

Cons:

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt nicht - es gibt keinerlei Annehmlichkeiten im Zimmer bzw. im Hotel, daher sind die Preise viel zu hoch. Das Hotel wurde renoviert und nett und mit Liebe im Vintage-Style hergerichtet, allerdings sind offensichtliche Punkte offen: Eingangsbereich, das Aushängeschild beim Empfang, ist alt, von der Decke im Außenbereich tropft das Wasser herunter; die Balkone brauchen dringend einen neuen Anstrich und einen neuen Fußboden; um die Abflüsse im Bad, die alten Heizungen und Fruchtfliegen im ganzen Haus (woher kommen die?) muss sich jemand kümmern. Die Toiletten haben keinen Aquastop - das sollte man dringend beheben, wenn man nachhaltig sein möchte. Die Mitarbeiter waren höflich aber nicht sonderlich freundlich oder bemüht. Auf unserem Zimmer (niedrigste Kategorie) gab es keinen Schrank, nur 1 Radio, 1 Sessel, 1 Bett mit Nachttischen, 1 Garderobenstange, 1 Kofferbuddy und 1 kleines Regal im Flur. Hierfür sind rd. 200 EUR pro Nacht zu teuer. Das Hotel hat einen Raum mit Sofas und Billardtisch und eine kleine Fasssauna am See. Zudem einen wirklich schönen Biergarten. Bei Regen muss man jedoch nach Mittenwald, Innsbruck oder Garmisch fahren da es im Hotel und im Ort sonst nichts gibt. Der Biergarten und die Pizzeria neben dem Hotel haben Selbstbedienung - dafür sind die Preise aber deutlich zu teuer, da auch die Portionen (zumindest die Pizzen) nicht groß sind. Zwischen Haus und See ist eine Durchgangsstraße (die nachts aber ruhig ist), die Seeterrasse am See ist eine dürftige Holzplattform mit wenigen spärlichen Liegestühlen und das Geländer ist so hoch und aus Holz, dass man vom See nichts sieht. Allgemein gibt es am Walchensee auf dieser Seeseite leider keinen schönen Weg am See entlang (nur Gehweg an der Straße), man muss mehrere Kilometer fahren/ laufen um auf die umliegenden Berge wandern zu können

Pros:

Sehr schöne & moderne Unterkunft direkt am Walchensee. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Unterkunft hat eine eigene Sauna mit herausragenden Ausblick über den Walchensee & eine eigene Seeterasse! Wunderschön, wir kommen irgendwann wieder!

Nettes Hotel
Pros:

Nettes Hotel, Lage am See ist sehr schön. Es wurden alte Möbel mit Neuem schön kombiniert. Dass kein Fernseher im Zimmer ist, ist sehr gut und entspannend!
Das Frühstück ist liebevoll hergerichtet.
Die kleine Fasssauna am See ist sehr nett.

Cons:

Preis Leistung ist so mittel.

perfect stay
Pros:

Both the stunning lake view and the beautiful interior design of Wallerei hotel made our stay in Walchensee really perfect. Both pizzeria and the breakfast in the morning had delicious food, and the staff was very friendly and polite.

Die Ruhe war sehr schön, das Zimmer sauber, das Personal super nett.

Cons:

Im Zimmer fehlt vielleicht ein schönes Bild, sonst ist es schôn eingerichtet, leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zum Garten raus, wo ein Hof dahinter ist, wo leider auch sehr früh die Arbeit begann. Aber schön war die Zeit trotzdem.

Sehr süßes familiäres Hotel mit Liebe zum Detail und toller Gastfreundlichkeit. Die „Honesty Bar“ mit dem Billardtisch und die kleine Fasssauna am See waren perfekt.
