Kataragama Homestay

Super vriendelijke jongen die de B&B namens de familie regelt. We mochten later uitchecken ivm safari, en ook na terugkomst geen haast maar koffie met wat lekkers. Super behulpzaam!

Sehr schönes Zimmer und nettes Personal. Über das Hotel kann man eine Safari für Yala buchen.

ホストの人柄が本当に素晴らしいです。予約したプランには朝食のみが含まれておりましたが、到着が遅くなったりサファリ後で疲れて夕飯探しに困っていると、祖母お手製のカレーを用意してくれました。とても美味しかったです。
また滞在中に午前中時間がかなりあったので何しようか迷っていたところ、ホストがバイクでカタラガマ市内を案内してくれてとても楽しかったです。
スリランカに第2の実家ができたような気持ちで、ホストの温かさに触れて心がとても満たされました。今回はヤーラ国立公園を訪れるために滞在しましたが、次回はこのホストファミリーに会うためだけに行きたいぐらい！素敵な思い出をありがとうございます。

L'accueil et la propreté des lieux.

Absolutely lovely place just a short walk from the main town area, but they have bicycles you can borrow if you'd prefer a quicker trip. Lovely host family, with the young fella running the place going above and beyond to make your stay there as nice as possible. Just watch out for the monkeys trying to steal your delicious breakfast ;)

We had a very nice stay at Kataragama Homestay. The place is peaceful, comfortable and overall has a really pleasant atmosphere.
The room was clean, beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom was very big, which was a nice plus. There was also a fridge in the room. The whole area around the accommodation is really nice and calm, so it is a good place to relax.
The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Another big advantage is that they can organize a safari for a good price, which makes everything much easier if you are planning to visit the national park. Parking is also available, and the location is quite good — relatively close to the center, but still quiet.
I don’t really have anything negative to say. For us it was a very good stay and I can definitely recommend this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here !! The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Perfect location for accessing the park as well.

The male host was very helpful throughout our stay and spoke great English. He even organised our safari for us which was very helpful.

Breakfast was nice and consisted of omelette, toast, fruit and coffee.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet gewesen. Klimaanlage hat ihre Arbeit getan und hervorragenden Schlaf beschert. Der junge Mann der uns empfangen hat ist absolut zuvorkommend und freundlich. Abendessen wurde uns ebenfalls angeboten und im Haus zubereitet.
Im allgemeinen kann ich diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und in Verbindung mit einer Safari im Nationalpark ist Sie eine tolle Ausgangslage für den Start am Morgen.

We loved this place. Such a cool place to stay. They loaned us bikes to ride around on. Organised a tour of yala national park. Did our laundry. So helpful. Room is so nice. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It was rustic and basic. Extremely functional

Safari için 1 gece kaldık. Kahvaltı yapmadık çünkü çok erken gittik safariye. Ama kahvaltı için ilk girişte hemen sordular saolsunlar. Çalışanlar çoki ilgilendi. Hatta bize yemek yemeye giderken ücretsiz bisiklet vermeyi teklif etti. Bahçesi güzel, hamak var, her şey düşünülmüş. Klimali odası, sineklikli yatağı ile burayı çok beğendik. Mirissaya geçerken ise bize uygun fiyatlı araç bile ayarladılar. Adamsınız.

Excellent stay, beautiful room and bathroom, spotless. Coffee, tea, water, fridge provided. Cute terrace. We could borrow also bicycle. Walking distance to the city. Nice breakfast. They can also prepare dinner however we didn’t try. Wifi good and hot shower as well. Very comfy bed.

We love this place, it’s the third time that we’ve stayed in Kataragama Homestay. The family that runs it are very very kind and they offer a really nice breakfast. The place is clean and very well decorated!

Man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt - die Unterkunft ist super liebevoll eingerichtet und die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr nett.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr ruhig gelegen, extrem sauber und unglaublich schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Aus der Hängematte konnten wir Affen in den Bäumen beobachten.

Super Aufenthalt, schönes Zimmer in gutem Zustand. Einfaches Frühstück. Super Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari im Yala National Park. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verzeichnis. 😀

Very clean and comfortable room with friendly staff. The food was also really good. Had a great stay!
