I loved this place. The people who run it are very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was delicious, and both the room and bathroom were always clean. I’ll definitely be back
The check-in was not as expected. I had to wait a long time for someone, and eventually had to look for help myself. A child who was playing in the basement ended up showing me the room, and there was no introduction to the facilities. It felt quite awkward

The room was nicely decorated and the WiFi was great. Location was perfectly between Hiriketiya and Dickwella. Good value for money and breakfast each morning was lovely! There are occassional planned powercuts in Hiriketiya, which we didn't realise - nothing the accommodation could do of course but useful to know!
Amazing bed and breakfast!!! The private rooms are stunning and such a relaxing vibe. Very clean rooms with good aircon. Our room had a huge fridge and freezer. Breakfast every morning was excellent and they give you something different every morning. They put in a lot of effort here, very kind people. Thank you🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hiriketiya was our favourite destination during our trip to Sri Lanka, and we're glad we chose to stay at Ayubowan. The property is quaint, charming and spotlessly clean. It's very centrally located- a five minute walk from both the main beaches in the area (Hiriketiya Beach and Dickwella Beach). The property manager Saroj and the staff were friendly and helpful- they always had a smile on their face, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, and the property proved to be incredibly good value. Highly recommended overall!
The bathroom is fairly basic and the water pressure was a tad low during our stay, but we didn't mind it too much.

We spent two excellent nights at Ayubowan Hiriketiya! The location is perfect, less than a 10-minute walk from the beach, and a bit quieter. The room is very clean, with a large bed and air conditioning that works really well. The bathroom is also clean. Breakfast is generous and delicious. All the staff are smiling and very attentive. We even received some tea as a farewell gift, which was very kind!

Clean good size room well located for Hiriketiya beach.
Seating area for breakfast could do with some soft cushions for stools. For the price I think some proper coffee making equipment is a must.
